Excellent video, your videos are very different than the typical travel/tourist videos as you offer much more educational content about your destination, from its’ history to detailed highlights about the islands. The cinematography is exceptional.

Once again Thanks for this 2nd top notch video on my beautiful Azores , although i love all of the Azores Pico island is my birth place so Pico & Faial were my play grounds growing up, as you can see for yourself it would be impossible for me to ever forget this gorgeous peaceful place as I've been living in Canada for over 40 years now , not one day has gone by in all these years that i have not remember my home. ..PS: one for your bucket list > very glad you mentioned that Pico mountain is the highest mountain on Earth from sea floor to the top of Pico, i myself have climbed it 3 times and am looking to climb one more time before my time expires, best sun rises & sun sets on our planet are at the top of Majestic Pico island.. Muito Obrigado to you Viti for this upload.

As with many individuals, your review on Faial is lacking the beauty and amazing hiking trails and natural swimming pools and correct history. The island is not called the blue island because the houses are painted blue. . It is because of the amazing hydrangeas. Lack of information to the actual history of the people of Faial during the volcano in the 50's. There is an amazing whaling factory/museum in Porto Pim. A beautiful Nature area, Morro de Castelo Branco Nature Reserve. Home to nesting seabirds. Formed 30,000 years ago. Also in Castelo Branco is the home of Queijaria O Morrow. A artisanal cheese buttery and soft. The Horta Museum in the old Jesuit college and it history. The Transalantic underwater communication cable during WW2.
