Holy crap, wtf just happened at 7m55s? That went into completely insane territory. I'll be installing the new firmware tonight as soon as I get home from work. This looks amazing. Thank you, MN, for continuing to develop your products after release.
Wild, Walker and Co 🤘🤤. Zone4 box and Spectraphon arrived yesterday and I'm lovin them tenderly. Will be reading and learning these first modes before upgrading, but incredi-stoked about continued dev on this one. Intend to patch in the Hydrasynth snd test some arrays from wave seqs plus other wild wavetable stuff. I have a theory that Sphon may appreciate the clarity of the harmonic content from such an uneffected digital source. We'll see 🌈📞🌊
@@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC this thing appreciates subtle control changes :) the result of feeding it modded wavetable was not at all to expectation. it's tricky. it likes amplitude Movement och harmonic-rich things. but i am Really enjoying it. it is a Performance Dream, with so many ways to shift, mix and tune the sides in and out of one another. Nice 😻 and having x-pan to mix it is really nice
For low frequency modes, are the cv outputs more attuned to smoothed random or chaos type cv? This firmware is absolutely bonkers with the new oscillator functions so hearing there’s even more is just fantastic
The modes work exactly the same in low frequency as they do at audio rate: SAO is summed sine waves at harmonic ratios, etc. We will dig in in detail in a video soon!
Had spectraphon for a month now and really loving it! Just to clarify on this firmware, the array binary no longer indicates the current value of the slide and focus controls?
Nice 👍 As the module is very large the added features are good for the features per HP ratio. Can you split the module in two parts and use one side as noise and the other side as spectral oscillator?
This is all great, but make sure that Makenoise continues to do what it has done well: fascinating + unique instruments that require a lot of technical understanding but not a lot of memorization of module specifics. Also, please give me the system shown in the video :P
Woud it be possible to add freeze/smear/blurring into future updates, considering the platform it is built upon? This is the only thing that's missing to be a better option, for my usage case, to the Panharmonium. Or, maybe you know a way and have tips to do what I'd like to achieve, with or without extra modules.
It's quite simple. You just patch a cable from your left ear into Morphagene's vari-speed input, and look back upon your youth. (Left ear is negative, right ear is positive.) Now patch the output into Spectraphon, alter the slide and focus, et voilá! Time travel unlocked. You're welcome.
Yall are killing me with this digital behemoth that’s now more than ever nagging to invade my analog audio circuit behavior study purposed modular system.
i can finally make noise
Goddamn you. You beat us all to it.
Fastest firmware update I've ever had! This takes the SP into a whole new level. I cannot even begin to imagine the possibilities.
Happy patching!!
Thank you so much for this fantastic sound source :) reminds me of the telharmomic at parts
Glad you dig! Happy patchin' :D
8:16 Sounds like FM through a vactrol, great stuff, fantastic update!
Wow….owned mine for less than a week and now this stunner. Nice.
Happy patching!!
Just in time for my completed Make Noise system in the new 4 Zone CV Bus case! Thanks guys!
Happy patching!!
Wow I just got mine last month. This is like getting a whole extra cool module for free. Looking forward to trying it this week.
Happy patching!! Hope you are enjoying the module 🎶⚡️
Wooo hoo! I was hoping you would share it this week! I look forward to your upcoming videos and the direction your hair is taking 🥳
this is what i was hoping for in the initial release - more modulation parameters that can change and shape your spectrum radically
"but wait..." 🤪🤪 thank you MN! Looks like a fantastic update
Happy patching!!!
Fantastic update to an already fantastic module. Thanks
Sounds great, a nice addition to expand the Spectraphon further.
Thanks Ben!
this is the best christmas gift ever
🎄
Yea! My birthday was the 5th and this is such a weird and wacky bday gift! Thanks Walker and everyone at make noise🤘
Happy birthday!! (and happy patching)

Well this is exciting. Will install the update now.
Thanks much for making such wonderful gear, and supporting it with updates 🎶🔥🎶
Happy patching!
Grace is gonna love this!
Thank you this will come in quite handy.!

oh mumma, one day I will get my hands on this

Yes absolutely, the sides remain independent from each other. Many combinations to try out!
@@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC that’s very interesting… a lot to explore in that new sonic capabilities!
love the shirt!
Thanks!
Thats nice 😘
Thanks!!
Were the noise and chaos features on the roadmap early in the modules development or more recent additions? @@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC

This is fantastic. I was unclear, do stored spectra influence the character of the noise in these new modes?
No, the spectra are only used in SAO

You’ve managed to convince on this module. The t-shirt tipped the scales.
cheers from Cologne
Cheers and thanx for tuning in!
You know what they say? It’s Make Noise or nothin!

The hairdo is still in development, didn't mean to make it public yet :P

How do I get that shirt!?
MATHS all over T from ~2015, might be tough to find now! I hope we will do another all-over print at some point
it def needs a repress....the all over print style is amazing@@MAKEN0ISEMUSIC
Ahh, I need those. You have the best shirts! I would love to see more of that for sale on your site!
I just updated but it’s not working?
