I can't believe that after a brief text from me they actually held one for me.
Found one insider that was scalping from a company that didn’t even change the tape on the box or the retail sticker that fell out of it. Shipped from right down the street.

This is fantastic news for most…. But it sucks for us living in the U.K. & EU….. this was always a dream module for me, I’ve 2 optomixes and an MMG….. don’t think it would be the same if it was vactrol-less…. Saying that, have you ever thought of resurrecting the MMG? That is/ was a killer module….
It does not ease the pain, but two Optomixes and an MMG is a dream combo with more vactrols, more knobs, more strikes, more sums, more CV and more options. Having only one MMG squeak instead of four is often enough. I absolutely love patching that combo. I also agree a MMG successor is dearly missed. But keep an eye on those UK/EU dealers for a real painkiller.
Two dealers that I know of in the UK are getting QMMG so keep your eyes peeled and wallet primed. Hope it's not against any rules to mention Juno and Elevator Sound.

I have two requests with one being a shot in the dark. I would love to see more of Eugene Vactrolman. He is an excellent guy and I look forward to him like I look forward to Walker. Since this is the final run of QMMG it would be really awesome for the design/schematic to be open sourced for those of us unable to afford the module at this time. There are licenses that allow for only self building non commercial use. QMMG is a vital part of Make Noise history and I’d hate for it to be lost to time and reverb resellers
Vactrolman will return!! It took a large team here about 6 years to get this project to the finish line without changes to the original circuit. We held it to very high standards to keep the module true to the original and worthy of the QMMG name.

Not buying one in 2018 was my biggest modular synth regret. Glad y’all surprised me with a second chance at obtaining one!

Are you using vactrols in this implementation?
Yes, the circuit is the same as the original except for reverse power protection and using a potentiometer for the mode selection.
