@@BloomAudio absolutely! going back and listening to this on PC instead of on my phone, it sounds better bc phone speakers do be harsh, so it's not as bad of an issue but it's still something to consider!
Not sure how accurate he is regarding aftermarket cables. I’ve been following IE600 forums on head-fi and many IE600 owners are choosing aftermarket cables over the stock ones.
I should've been a bit more specific, unless specifically noted by the manufacturer, most aftermarket MMCX cables wont work. We tried some MMCX cables we had here in the office to no avail, but there are certainly aftermarket cables you can purchase to cable roll with the IE 600.

I am using a GUCraftsman 6N Single Crystal Copper 4.4mm Upgrade Earphone Cable. It is a decent improvement compared to the stock cable.
