Me again...technical malfunction...I also wanted to thank you for your generous spirit in sharing so much with anyone who is listening. I've been listening for a while now, and I really get a lot of spiritual nourishment from your channel. So thank you and Blessed be. K
Happy TH-cam Birthday!!! As always, I completely love your take on things. I think I didn't focus enough on the point of critical thinking in my video. It's so important, for both your intuitive leanings with spirituality and the things you read. That's the key to the evolution of a spiritual path, in my mind. If you're not critically thinking about the things you currently do, you can never figure out what no longer serves you and what would serve you better.
Happy belated TH-cam Birthday! I completely agree with the Seeker will find a Teacher/Mentor that aligns with their same vibrational frequency. I've had this conversation with others offline as well. A Teacher that someone else may align with may not be a Teacher that I resonate with or who I feel doesn't have anything 'new' to offer me but may have a plethora of information for others. :) Much love to you!
I think you've made an excellent contribution so far :) Teaching something isn't necessarily going to make someone part of the problem - it's important to share knowledge. It's just equally important that we accept that there are other points of view and also make sure we know our shizzle before we teach :) I love your channel and your take on things. x
Another intelligent, eloquent and riveting video. I love what you say about focusing too much on other people's paths; that's a mistake I have made in the past... but I also agree with what you say about building a solid foundation, and using the USD for tarot cards and letting your intuition build off of that. Happy youtube birthday! Love your style, love your videos, love YOU! :D xx
Happy TH-cam Birthday to you! Yayyy! :) I agree about your thoughts on Tarot, and the need to learn those Universal definitions. Tarot is a like a book and each card connects to the rest. A literal story-line unfolding before you which still amazes me after 30 years of reading them.
Thank you :) It's my cracked out Buddy Holly look, haha! Well, the sweater is 80s vintage. It's what I call 'ugly beautiful' which reminds me of the French for that term which you referenced in a video once. :) So much love to you - you continue to inspire me x
There is a question of responsibility.. Sometimes it's more useful just to teach stuff which has grounding and then allow people their own exploration, rather than jumping straight into teaching some personal perspective which might not make sense to anyone else. Thanks for listening x
I was going to make a video on this... and then I saw your video. lol You've beautifully explained everything that I would've said myself. It's all about a balance to me. But then, with you being a fellow daughter of Hel... I'm not so shocked that you see the brilliance behind both sides of the fence. I absolutely loved this video. Thank you for making it.
I've always lived my "path" as: "The only thing I know is that I know nothing at all". I have a real frustration with people who take an authoritative view of teaching, versus one that guides with reason. I'm actually increasingly frustrated with how others pass judgement or seem to have such an aggressive pov. Spirituality isn't a crutch, it's a pathway, it's an individual exploration...ANYWAY, as beautiful video, loveley!
Completely agree - there is [or appears to be] a major lack of balance at the moment with a lot of people in the community both online and just in life in general. You really did a great job making this point in a plain and none judgemental manner. New Subscriber here :D
At the same time, I *grok* what you are saying in regards to even teachers creating that space of sharing outside ideas ( aka intelligent discourse & growth!). But, perhaps, that is not so much disclaimer as it is wisdom, a practical wisdom, that history & traditions exist from; but they, too, were once un-treaded paths, & now paths from which we may divert...I digress. Suffice it to say I agree with much of what you say & I so appreciate your patient, conscientious & loving delivery. Sat Nam.
Happy TH-cam birthday! And you've done a very good job here of navigating what I see as a very sticky topic. A big part of me wants to make a video sharing my opinion on this, but another part of me is kind of scared. I know I will in couple of days or so, anyway, because I'm feeling a very strong prompting to do so.
Oh good point - daughters of Hel will naturally be able to put one foot on each side. I'm glad to see you around actually because I'm planning a video about my belovéd matron and I was remembering how you are also with her. :) We are few, it seems, but we make up for it in awesome!
There's a book in very (extremely) limited print by a man named Joseph Sadony. It's called "Gates of the Mind". you can find it online though. It's worth reading.
:) That is the greatest compliment. Everyone I've met on my way has been my teacher and it's nice to know that I can give that back too. Abundance is my new favourite word. Only once you feel that you are in the midst of it can you really unknowingly give it effortlessly :) x
Well said, as usual... HAPPY TH-cam BiRTHDAY to you! You've added so much to this community + you're looking so damn cool in this video- super groovy outfit-hair-glasses-all of it.
Happy TH-cam Birthday. And I thin of Tarot as a Language. Like a word has individual meaning so does a card. But lay them in a row the cards form a sentence. Love&Fight!!!!!!!
I'm glad you get it, though I'm sorry you feel the pain. Love n light hun.

Belated happy youtube birthday! I agree with you so much here, though I possibly fall more on one side as I basically (respectfully) disagree with Feather GardenBelle. I am all up for cracking the books, but what I feel is most important is that people don't take anything as being true that is actually possible to disprove - things such as history and basic scientific fact. But when it comes to the metaphysical, while I understand that it's very serious to a lot of people [cont...]
I've been watching/listening to your videos for the past few hours, and all that I can say is that if I weren't already Subscribed to you, I'd Subscribe to you. :)
sooo...I went off on a tangent last night, and missed a few words. Anyway, better head space now to comment. I think there is more of difference between passing judgement on one's traditions and passing judgment on someone who is teaching from an "authoritative" approach. The craft as such is about exploration and experimentation; *those* aspects are not merit for *others*judgement, but when you are forcing a way of perceiving on others as the only point of authority is where I'm left at a loss.
Indeed, we are very few, and very awesome. :) I most certainly think that Hel could use more videos that explain her in a... 'fairer light'? lol I look forward to your video about her!
Not sure why I am focusing in on this of all things, but disclaimers are also more often used by women than by men. We tend to (generally speaking per gender studies) use disclaimers to create a safe space to speak and *share*, whereas men will often set aside that solicitation for permission and just roll into active voice speech patterns (matter-of-fact statements). As a result, disclaimers bug the hell out of me (there I go trying to be subversive and disassemble the binary).
I made the video! :D Too bad VR is dead. And yes I know what you mean, I always feel that labels and traditions are all about the community aspect of religion rather than the personal spiritual side. Maybe that's why I've never gotten too hung up on any labels or traditions - it's always been very personal and private to me!
One more point I commend you on is the idea of "book study" so as to not have one-sided inaccuracies. I love love LOVE this; & once upon a time "book study" was the Oral Tradition, so the idea of this YT community generating this discussion for dissection fits nicely. Post-modernity, however, enables us (good & bad [reductively noted]) to obliterate hard-lined ideology so that we may freely cherry-pick. I admit my fingers are quite stained, but my eyes are also tired from so many lovely books...

[...cont.] I respectfully feel as though it's all "made up" at some level. I particularly agree with what you say towards the end. With spirituality, I feel sometimes that the most important thing is for people to be able to feel they *can* just go with whatever they feel is right, without too much regard to "tradition" or anything else. We're all just trying to find our own story! I might make a video on this during the week, actually, I seem to be rambling on about it! :)
You rambling is super interesting. Make a video :) And yes, it's all made up. All of it - every tradition and religion. I didn't really go into that part of it but yeah - we are assigning meaning to symbols and actions through our human consciousness. We can never *know*. We can only go where we resonate in our desire to find a connection to the Divine. Wanting to stick to stringent tradition is often more about wanting connection to *each other* as spiritualists.
I agree on what you said about Tarot, there must be a start point and from there on you can go to the Moon, sorry for the paraphrasing. In short there needs to be a core with a slant of your interpretation. That can be worked into many thing in my opinion. I was one of the people who commented on your past video on ( prayer & why labels don't matter ) I had just got out of hospital & was getting used to my new meds, so my comment was not accurate. It was out of context with what you'd said

Totally, me too! Constantly learning more and tying that to what I learned before. That rhymes!
My how time flies. Happy Birthday!!!!! Thank you for posting. Blessed Be!!! Syker :)

This is exactly what I was talking about in my "Wicca without Dogma" video ~Annika
Thanks for listening :) Tact is the essence of peace, haha!

I've often thought that we need our own rituals.

Fabulous video. Thanks so much for sharing your point of view. I agree with you on so many of your points.
That's ok - I completely understand. I take strong painkillers and sometimes, when I have to double dose, nothing makes much sense, haha!
Happy TH-cam Birthday. And I thin of Tarot as a Language. Like a word has individual meaning so does a card. But lay them in a row the cards form a sentence. Love&Fight!!!!!!!

Happy U Tube birthday!
I didn't know there was a community. Is there a youtube community? Do you experience connections between people? Have you unexplainable connections?
First: Great video. Second: Happy TH-cam Birthday. Third: Are you and that doll behind you wearing matching outfits? :)
❤️
*think I meant think lol
Happy TH-cam Birthday! Have a slice of cake for me.
