Never done it?? Do it for sure! Super cool trail, keen to get another crack at it! And yeah, blew my mind how he slid down on that DJ haha, what a madman
Haha, definitely has great potential for losing bark off your arms and legs. Took it pretty slow the first run down just to have a look, elbow pads for sure a good idea here.
I know right! Insane - i've seen it done by locals too, I can see how it works in theory, but man... there ain't much of a landing from that middle slab! That drop into this section as you come into it does my head in too, it's a solid drop on it's own, but combined with what's after you'd need to be 100% precise & fully committed! Those guys are really on another level
@@IBCMTB Providing the lockdown has lifted, I'll be there in Feb 2022 so will check it out. Here's link for anyone interested (06.20) - th-cam.com/video/hHK4aKBzb-M/w-d-xo.html
Only time I wear clips now is on the XC bike, just don't feel as safe on clips & they feel less predictable/stable to me for some reason. Just kept going back to flats for steeper techy trails and jumps 🤷♀️
@@IBCMTB That’s fair enough. I feel like I would not be able to switch to clips since I’ve always been running flats. I just would hate losing all of my confidence thinking that I wouldn’t be able to get my foot out fast enough.
@@hartzlemon9319 Wasn't much of a learning curve to clipping out I don't think, for me it was more not being sure whether i'd clip out by accident over a jump haha! Happened a few times. The being scared of not clipping out in a crash was definitely a factor though
Awesome! I need to get up there ASAP! Been putting it off way too long...
That no pads/short sleeve DJ guy though hahaha, what an absolute maniac!

@@IBCMTB Haven't been to Derby at all still haha, it's an outrage!
Nice! Now your starting to get the subs you deserve!
Haha, thanks!
Yes it's a great walking track for those who like to keep their skin on.

Nice work man! Trails are looking 👌🏽
Cheers! Hero dirt at the moment - if you can stand the cold! 😁
What a cool location!
Derby is amazing! If you ever get the chance to come to Tasmania, it's definitely worth it!
So jealous, looks amazing

Nice video mate looks like a fun track
Cheers man, keen to get back and link together a run down it!
Looked Fun! :D

Thanks! It's a 2021 Norco Sight
I need to ride again sometime soon
Nice video keep up the good work 👍
0.53 - Martin Maes gapped from the top slab, lilly padded the middle then landed on the last slab! Incredible!!

It is, yep. Think you might be the first to notice and comment! 👍
