actually if u go for photography ..this one is not the best for it...but in videography...This is the greatest of this year ..plus it was sooo tempting that they have a cinema pro app that can makes u a proffessional
Good stuff Lok, as an OAP my interest in smartphones is limited compared to younger people who need entertainment on their daily commute but I was interested in this Sony for the photographic and video potential so this was a very interesting review, well done :)
I like your pros and cons, because they are spontaneous and are formed out of hands on experience. To get the most out of this phone, one really needs to experiment with all the settings. It is not an action camera, nor will it replace a larger sensor camera for low light. But if you work within the camera's restraints and options, I think you will be happy with the results. Sony Experia was my first Smart Phone. Before that I had the Motorola Slvr for 5 years. I think the Sony lasted me for a few years before it started going bad.

I read the title consciously in Lok's voice. I was also looking at this phone a few days ago, good timing. App is nice, but I don't think there's a way to change the aspect ratio. Heh... Of course it over heats, it's a Sony.
This phone is superb but Sony sit on their hands and don't push their product leaving Apple and Samsung to hoover up the market with their more workaday products.
