    Great boat loading system. Wish there were more specifics regarding components. If not too late could do it then if I would the attachment you have on the back of your rig and the front.

    An update for any fans of the beloved boat loader. Someone crashed into my Ridgeline and destroyed it so I have salvaged the boat loader and am hoping it will live on elsewhere :(

      Hey there! I don't have any drawings because it was so specific to the Ridgeline. But the three main pieces were a steel frame made of square tubing attached to Thule roof racks, a front roller made of steel tubing inserted into the front hitch that re-directed the winch line to the back, and square tubing welded in an 'H' shape that inserted into the rear hitch to prevent the boat from hitting the truck. If you have front and back hitch receivers, you can build it!

      Hey there, it was specific to the Ridgeline but included the winch which connected to a front hitch, the roof frame which sat on top of two thule crossbars, and the small legs which fit into an adapter on the rear hitch

      Hey John it's mounted to the front of the vehicle with a roller that redirects the line to pull the boat on from the back

    One good side wind while that boat is vertical and it's surely gone. Would need to add several more guide ropes/lines to secure it while loading or unloading.
