    Hey Dan, appreciate the review! Just some correction: at around the 15:00 mark, the 2 adjustment holes on the pedal arm is actually not for neutral positioning - they are also for customizing the stiffness. If you look at the bottom of the pedal, near the pedal arm pivot point, you'll see a hidden away blue stopper. That one determines where the neutral position is if you want the pedal face a little forward or backward. Hope that helps ;)

    I don't have a simulated bite point on my pedals, but do remember someone doing a video, maybe Carl Gosling, on using deliberate dead zones for the clutch pedal to get that simulated bite point to function correctly in sim. Not just a piece of hypothetical immersion, but to utilize the dead zones to line up the physical simulated bite point on the pedal to the actual bite point in simulation.

    Thanks for the review! I wish the brake plate was larger, similar to their flagship model, however, the value is great. I just purchased a set. Looking forward to trying them out.

    These pedals the brake feels alot like the newer elite v2 from fanatec. Kind of why I get so surprised by the v2s at times.

    I agree, when i went from g27 pedals to csl elite pedals with a load cell definitely made me way more consistent. But going from the g27 wheel to the csl elite wheel was amazing even if i didn't get faster. It was like going from a toy to a real wheel. Got a alpha mini and gt neo supposed to be here tomorrow.. cant wait😁broke my csl elite years ago by putting to much force at max rotation trying to save a spin. It still works but definitely not 100%.

      Got to say the v1 csl pedals sucked tho, the load cell was great but i constantly had problems with the plastic gears on the throttle and clutch sensors wearing causing input spikes.. love my v3's tho. No issues in 4 years.

    Best pedals I have used are the VRs no elastomers and they are amazing

    Great review, could you do a video on AMS 2 camera settings most realistic view bit of a topic?

    • @DanDiMaggio
      @DanDiMaggio  ปีที่แล้ว

      The thing with "what's most realistic" videos is they are very subjective. What I may think is most realistic may be different to what others think. Personally I use the cockpit camera with the steering wheel turned off (unless its for youtube and in that case I typically turn it on for the viewer) but other people like hood cam and think that's more realistic. The cockpit camera matches closest to my real world driving experience so that's what I use.

    Good video brotha can I ask you where are these made are they imported

    • @DanDiMaggio
      @DanDiMaggio  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes they are imported. The VNM guys are located in Vietnam but Sim Motion has them in stock. The only thing that might still be on back order is the optional heel plate.

      Was just wondering everything is made out the states no wonder we don’t have big conventions like out in Europe

    To give software the ability to feel a clutch bite point, wouldn't a secondary loadcell at either end of the clutches spring, sense the difference in spring pressure?

    • @DanDiMaggio
      @DanDiMaggio  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      honestly I'm not sure how it would work. That might do the trick but there's also some slip that occurs prior to engagement they would have to line up as well. That's why I would assume it woud be pretty hard to get right. But there's some super smart people out there so there's always hope!

      @@DanDiMaggio I have that issue you mentioned about the game not knowing where the bite point is. What I did flatten my curve some in the software around 70ish% right before that drop off. It seems to have given me a bit more leway between games where Im able to have better clutch control

    Sadly, in the uk i can only get the 3 pedal set. But i seeing these coming up a lot and im wondering if i should. I really really want to know if who else has these pedals and should i get them?

  • @GoldCustomBuilds

    can i put the seperate springs also on the throttle or cluitch ? i really like the feeling of the clutch when it pushes against your foot. that way i get a better feeling. and thorttle aswell

    • @DanDiMaggio
      @DanDiMaggio  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can certainly swap out the springs for both, but the included springs for the brake that come in the box are not the correct size so they wouldn't work. You could totally source the correct size from ebay, amazon and more than likely your local hardware store. But you really don't need to. They built in adjustable preload for the clutch and throttle allow for a wide range of soft to stiff out of the box like they are and it's super easy to make the adjustments and test until you find the right setting for you!

    Should a usb-A to USB-C cable work with this? Tried to start it up for the first time in a fe months and couldn’t find the USB-A to USB-A cable it came with but not a single USB-A to C is working, nothing showing up in the VNM utility.

    Hummmm... wonder how they hold up to other high end pedals. How bad would be if you bought thoes pedals and found out there are better pedals out there.

    • @DanDiMaggio
      @DanDiMaggio  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It's all relative to price. These are priced under most of the "high end" pedals but also above some of the "mid range" pedals. As of now they are kind of in a bracket of their own. I still always recommend to watch lots of reviews of others pedals before making any purchase.
