When filleting inside, try bleeding the fish out first. A lot less mess on the cutting board and you get whiter meat

It was the exact opposite for me, I went out between 11 and 6 and caught two fish between 11 and 3. Then it was a fish every 5 minutes after 4:30-5. Caught some at 4, but they were swimming up and hitting it without me even moving it. Was at 12 feet rock bottom. The daytime fish are more aggressive and the nighttime fish are more passive. But they also seem bigger. As soon as I moved it, they went away. Staying still was the key. I also did not move all day. For me, 12-16 fish in a day is enough. It is too cold out to move around. I went out a public access due to it being free and there being zero pressure or people around me. A little walk from the car in cold weather, but it sucks being around 5 million people. Heading up tomorrow again for another go.

Try putting a bead in between the bobber stop and the I fish pro trigger. Helps with the bobber stop from slipping and holds on the trigger better.

The humminbird app you have looks great. The amount of different waters I fish I up here I couldn’t see myself paying 30 bucks a lake.

Going to Lake of the Woods this weekend what should I use?
Sam Ripplinger I would recommend a 3/8oz rattle bait or a hyper glide for Walleyes, as well and just a simple jig and a minnow. I was there last weekend and that is what worked best

I caught biggest eye of our trip at night on millyacks that was 20 years ago though when water was still dirty ,4lber on jingle reel after 500 eelpouts during week in sleeper lotsa perch in day time ,smashed the pigs up on rainy river next year a blast
They bite after dark... been out the last two weekends with most of our fish coming on set lines throughout the night into early morning..
