I love the black cleaver against an opponent that's not buying any armor
He was preparing for the eventual armour. After all, they had Urgot, Bel'Veth, Garen & Samira in the team. But Whatley was too smart! 600 IQ > 300 IQ
Black cleaver is still entirely effective in elongated fights even if the opponent isn't building armor, and is just generally good on Urgot. You often rush BC on Urgot against bruisers as well (who usually build health not resistances). Like what else should he have bought? Eclipse, while getting stomped in lane?
BC is core on Urgot regadless.
