couldn't he have made four of the iron golem gens in a room slightly larger than a chunk and then just have the floor rotate him to each kill box on a timer? or does the game save the kill data for those chunks permanently?
Your latter theory is close, but there's some nuances at play. First, it actually counts the chunk the mob dies in and not the chunk you kill it in. But secondly and more importantly, the limit is counted per chunk and saved, for a cooldown of iirc like 10 hours. But it's based on your actual computer time, so you can login the next day and continue essentially. However I found a *much* better way of getting around this limitation, but I won't spoil that just yet.

Wait... But why not use mechanical pistons to make it less likely you get dropped? Unless it's too slow... Also you probably know this now, but arcane/frost/fire deal magic damage which generally does a better job of bypassing armor, some spells are pretty bad without high stats though, and the keybinding are completely wonk (pressing the number keys at the top of your keyboard just isn't a smooth experience...), Some spells do do decent damage though, and the pacj dev posted something about how all top tier builds should be able to do ~300 dps- I am still at a loss how you can do THAT much damage though (maybe after Void's Invasion?). Funnily enough though, some spells, like agonizing breath, can go through walls ehich is totally cheesable. Also some spells scale on multiple attributes (I THINK flickering flame scales on attack speed & fire power), it gets complicated real fast.
Mechanical pistons don't work properly with windmills, at least not atm unfortunately. It's the reason all the big flying machine designs tend to use mechanical bearings or similar means of rotation instead. As for the damage scaling, I'm still not exactly sure how things actually progress. There's no traditional level system, or any clear indication of "progress" outside the normal levels, which definitely don't scale that high. So I can only assume it has to do with a mix of gear and drops, with stronger mobs giving better drops as I've noticed some looted enchantment books have some very interesting combinations of enchantments. But even then it's not clear how you go about getting better books, as there's no indication of dungeon tiers or any such concept... I'll just have to fiddle as I go I suppose
@@6thScythe ahhh, ok Yeah I'm confused about the scaling too, but I just found out that the Endgame has infinite scaling with the hourglass you get after completing the whole first storyline. Apparently +25% attack damage for every hourglass level- but you can also loose hourglass levels... EDIT: I should also add, a relatively easy early game flight is using one of the craftable umbrellas (or the loot one, they work the same it seems), and the second frost techniques spell (riptide), which conveniently doesn't require any runes, or the more expensive option of a sky rod. There's gliders too. Second edit (for that one person who stumbles across this later): umbrellas + riptide spell is really awful, but gliders + riptide spell is amazing, gliders don't even take durability damage.
For all of forge's faults, I have found that making a stable tech/magic/rpg pack on fabric almost impossible. It feels like the mod makers as a whole are just.... worse... in general, aside from the titans that have came over from forge. Great artists, shoddy programmers. If only we could have the forge devs hire all the fabric devs for their art and models.
I think it's worsened by the fact that there's pressure to mass manufacture modpacks for studios that are doing it for profit, as well as that it's become a trend (or perhaps always was a trend) for modpacks to include obscene amounts of mods. I think PM2 is at 390+ mods, a lot of these mods are just too much imo. Forge (now Neoforge) does provide a technical benefit for large amounts of mods in one pack though, which is that things are more standardized since they try and include anything that might be commonly used within Neoforge itself rather than implementing it on a mod by mod basis. It adds bloat in small packs but makes things more standardized in large packs, often making them more reliable.
Aye, but at the rate you can get resources it'll still be a pain to move that many items around. I'll probably build some tools to help me manage items in part 2

This is way too much effort for skill farming? All it takes to fully max out your skill levels is kill Conjucvitus boss from Minecells. It drops like 400xp per kill, so you only need to kill it a couple times.
I did the math and it takes about... 40 Conjucvitus' kills to reach max level (65). Cost per level increases as you level up, so you have to account for that. It turns out however there's a far faster way to get XP, that I discovered recently. Still redstone, but a bit of a trick I figured out to drastically speed things up. "SoonTM"
@@6thScythe ill be real with this modpack using math is a bit silly. Shit doesn't work very well and I killed a lot less than 40 conjucvituses and got to max level. I think I only killed like 5 or 6 starting from lvl 25.

@@6thScythe ahhh, ok
Yeah I'm confused about the scaling too, but I just found out that the Endgame has infinite scaling with the hourglass you get after completing the whole first storyline.
It adds bloat in small packs but makes things more standardized in large packs, often making them more reliable.
mmmmmm yes a nix ambassador
We love NixOS
yay a deadcells modpack
14:43 is that Jetstream Sam??
what's the song at the beginning
3ds network id settings initial setup third phase
Is that trove music at 7:42
Trove
You can craft a backpack for more storage :/
Aye, but at the rate you can get resources it'll still be a pain to move that many items around.
I'll probably build some tools to help me manage items in part 2
11:12 Hah, using music from an RPG block game while playing a block game with RPG classes
Modpack comes with multiple shader options.. please use one x.x
I can't stand shaders in most cases
3:28 you prob play with an high fov so try use the same fov you normaly use
I always use normal FOV, it turns out they did actually lower the reach distance 💀
Who is the anime character from the thumbnail? I’ve been trying to find that anime for so goddamn long, help me!
Accelerator from...
I actually don't remember anything about the anime other than Accelerator 💀
Can we get a schematic?
This one is too janky for a schematic, but I'll release a schematic of the next one (which will be far better)
@@6thScythe what you thinking for release date 😈
@@thebestcrypto1777 We're gonna see how much damage this hurricane causes and go from there; still gotta make the new design, record the video and then edit

Why am I hearing trove music in this vid

Trove music RHAAAAAAAA
all that effort when you could just spend any amount of time in a WDA dungeon 😂
IT'S ALWAYS CREATE WHY CREATE WHY WHY WHY
that's it im going to monifactory
Millions must create.
Honestly though Create is just the most visually interesting way to do most things, in a pack like this there's a few mods are absolutely broken that I could use as replacements for things like cobblegen, but they're magic blocks so they lack some of that visual appeal.
Also I have no idea what half these mods do, too much random stuff for me to investigate everything.
That said... Botania is slept on, big time. Botania SoonTM maybe
@@6thScythe Now i understand... Limitless potential
@@6thScythe Also botania is PEAK, haven't seen anyone do a contraption with it since 1.16 came out, the only notable one i remember was an automatic ore gen/farm with an autominer
Please make more videos😂
the fuck is taking up 200GB
The clips lmao
To edit properly you have to convert things to an editing format, which takes up tons of space
@@6thScythe Aint no way it takes up that much space fuckin ell
That's despite me cutting it down to just clips I wanted to use lmao
Professional editors usually have terabytes of video for any big project
Go try it yourself, record something and convert it to DNxHR or Prores, you'll see the size difference immediately
@@6thScythe also i just tested it out and the reason ur calculations were so wrong is cuz i gave u the wrong numbers lmfao. It actually drops 2477xp per kill. This might or might not be affected by multiple xp modifiers in the game.
@@diridibindy5704 I opened a creative world and tested, my calc was correct (I had checked the exact XP amount prior to calcing)
You can test it yourself, kill them one by one and see how many it takes to reach max level from level 1
