@@africaine4889 Nah not really. More often to see it the other way around especially in other countries. Though in America diaspora Eritreans are different people I've noticed they are only Eritrean in name. Atlanta from what I've heard has it the worst. I'm sure Eritreans as a community will cease to exist in America maybe in 3-4 more generations they will simply become black americans. Maybe one of their children will say my grand grand grandfather was Eritrean so I'm Eritrean.
      Sad reality.

Let me drop some game on yall. Having children with your people of your culture strengthens your community by population, keeps your culture going into the future. Women have an imporatnt part to play in this because they are the morhers and firts teacher. If the women fall, the society goes with them.

The answer is simple: These people go viral because this specific pairing is provocative and surprising. Precisely because it's not expected and not all *that* common. Of course it happens, but there's not some wave of women going to Nigerian men. I find it hard to see how anyone would even believe that. No offense to anyone, but that's how social media works.
Most Habesha women who marry out aren't marrying Nigerians or obsessing over them. It's certainly not some prevailing preference. A small percentage in a diaspora of millions is not indicative.
And men who date/marry out are less likely to be interested in posting it on social media. I'm a Somali woman, and the same thing happens with the minority of Somali women who date West African men and post it online. People who don't pause to think probabilistically will use them to claim there's some meaningful trend. These aren't statistical indicators

I could not agree more well said. And people who want a click, aka more views or attention, would bring this on to youtube and make it look worse than it actually is. I went to University and had a few friends from Nigiria, both men and women. Most if not all of them want their own women unless they want use it as a short cut getting a status or just messing around until they are ready to settle down. Even then some would go back and marry one of their own. I know it happened to one habesha lady who is now raising a child as a single mum and regrets her decision, because the man went back and married one of his own. Of course, we are all human and can fall in love, nothing surprising, but is is far less commen seen habesha marriing out of their own community. As a matter of fact a lot of beatfull habesha girls are patiently awaiting their habesha men when a pool of other men out side of community are begging them. Stop this non sense please.

Before I downloaded Ticktock I thought it is just me but then I saw saw habesha women prefering West Africans and habesha men preferring Europeans. I don’t think we (in the diaspora) are made for each other because we often come from broken and chaotic family backrounds, so we seek safety and a normal life in European families or anywhere else that does not remind us of the chaos at home.

But you have a interesting point of view. I think it mainly has to do with the guys not stepping up. Habesha women are amazing but the guys don't keep up.. and I think there is a reason for that as well.

Eri population is 3mil so it’s a huge cause for concern. It’s not a problem till your 3 generations in and Eritrean blood is heavily diluted to a point where an Eritrean don’t look like an Eritrean no more and the culture ceases to exist. 3 mil is a TINY populace.

I think it’s sad that the complaints happen only when it’s west Africans. I see way more habeshas marrying white and it’s silence int those cases.
It shows the racism in our culture and the fear of whites.
But i also think it’s sad how many habeshas born in the west actually marry out. I think by now it’s more than those who marry habesha.
If one values their Identity or culture like they value their religion they would at least TRY to find someone habesha, but many go straight for something else. That’s not love. And it will have a demographic and then sadly a historic impact on our existence, because we are responsible for our own existence, Nobody else.

Next to the despotic regime ruining our homeland, emigration is arguably the worst thing that ever happened to Habasa people. But giving up and existing in a state of nonchalant indifference cannot be an option. Our survival and growth is what at stake here, and our salvation lies in demobilization and democratization in our homeland, and the repatriation of the hundreds of thousands of our immigrant population in the West. We need to be solution oriented instead of crying about the problems afficting our community.

4.Please do you people even define yourselves as Afro or African?
    5. We in Nigeria are proudly Global Afro in Nigeria that is why we are forever bonding with our Afro peoples across the planet.
    6. Finally, it was quite a job trying to watch your podcast to the end so I did not but it was perhaps because you are Habesha only. Nothing spoil.
    7. However, if your women should ever get lucky enough to have Nigerian men stumble on this podcast of yours and can afford to watch it up to the point where both of you indicate any form of exclusiveness, they will make you change that mind of yours about exclusiveness.

Well.... Nigerian men are coming for your women and there is nothing you can do about it. We've not really look into Ethopia, Eritrea and somali axis. But i think your women are beautiful and we want them, and we are going to get them. Treat them right and prosper us. Dont hate on Nigerians. We are only built differently.

Why you don't date your own women? Is it because of the waves? Or aren't they pretty. I have never heard any race say I we are coming for your women to a nigerian but here you are, dreaming about our woman. Man God bless our woman they are so beautiful we don't need to go to other races.
