When a woman appreciates and wants to dance with you, no matter who is playing the music, then DANCE with her, even if you think it looks stupid! If your woman likes it, then what do you care what others think ! ?
Excellent advice that somebody once gave me long ago. And I try to pass it along. Locally there was this BBQ place and every half hour or so they played some loud country music and all the people working there, male and female, stopped what they were doing and did a little dance. Sort of like line dancing in a way. One high school age waiter seemed bored and annoyed doing this. I had a conversation with him that girls LOVED to dance and if he would just "get into it and smile some", he would be amazed at how the girls would warm up to him. Some weeks later I was in there again. He said I was right.
@@SmilingAtheist It's never too late. There is a VERY nice place in a nearby town that has a tiny band for ballroom dancing once or twice a week. Plenty of opportunity to be popular if you can at least try and do a few steps. I know, "ballroom dancing" makes a lot of guys eyes glaze over, but it is perhaps the very best first step in meeting women interested in that type of dancing. In fact, it is more like a first step and a second step all rolled into one.
I was a bartender for more than 20 years. Now I live in a small town.. no bars around.. especially after Covid. I MISS the comraderie and friendship of the bars I worked in over the years. I MISS live music... you know.. the kind that make you feel something good. THANK YOU for recording this. It sure was a great morale booster for me today. SMILES and tears.

To be fair, it's the Grampus, there's a lot of great local musicians play there so not far off an everyday occurence, but nonetheless still great to see and much appreciated. If anyones ever down this way they host a great open mic night (REALLY impressive musicians) on Fridays as well as other times. Awesome food too!
I like just hearing him speak, his cheerful voice (God knows we all need that right now), and his smiling face has me forever hooked on his videos that are now popping up frequently on my suggested vids, and I'll probably play every one of them.
My dad used to play the piano in every pub that had one ..he was from Birmingham to ..also your boogie woogie style is so much alike his it's haunting ..my dad passed away 15 years ago 😢 ..loving what you do mate bringing back lovely memories of my old man Alan

Oh I love this!!! A few weeks ago I was at the family local diner when the waitress took a take-out order for JEREMIAH and I automatically started singing " JEREMIAH was a bullfrog..was a great friend of mine!" The waitress sang the next part and two more joined in...a few customers sang along and it was fantastic! Some people put their lighters on and held them up and some sang with us!!! When the one owner came out to see what was going on he took one look at me and " oh it's u Kathy (I've been going there 27 years) carry-on!" We got a standing ovation and this was 8 in the morning and breakfast time!!! Music definitely brings people together!!!

I was in theatre a couple of days ago, and during the intermission I found out that they have a working piano in the hallways. I immediately thought of Terry appearing and rocking the house.

Dont know where you are In California,but we're both Musicians & there are places To play, but folks need to Get it together before playing In public, though it's IMPORTANT Too that beginners have a place To start . We wouldn't know As we both have been professionfal for many years & Personally, I think that if It means that much to you You will find where to play when you're just starting,we each Did..
Finding people that can play more than just guitar (or play well i should say) at establishments period are a rarity. Pianos are ALL THE TIME being given away for free on local sell your stuff apps.

I love this guy's energy. So cool. I really don't listen to piano much. But the way this guy plays it is so cool. He made the piano much more interesting. Funny halfway though the song he is so out of breath from head banging and jumping around and sprinting in place that he's not singing because he's so out of breath.
