@Yoo Yoo I don't know what gives you an idea that 4G mobile plans in the US are for $200. Have you looked at any carriers like AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile site? It's usually closer to $50. And why pick exclusively on cellular plans, why not talk about vehicles which are far move expensive in India for a similar model. Take Honda Accord or Toyota Camry as example. Not just that, look at gas or utility prices. That is why you have something called GDP in a PPP model to compare between different currencies. It's a great place to visit, but definitely not to live and work in. The cost of living is just horrific, stress levels are high, and you simply run out of things to do after a very short time in such a small country. The amount of stupid laws and regulations is also a big turn off, even more so when you consider the fact that singaporean politicians are the highest paid in the world, earning about $1m per year while the rest of the populous struggles to maintain a disposable income comparable to that of other developed nations. Despite being so rich, there is no government healthcare for the working class, the legal system is extremely draconian, the government sues or jails you for criticising it, and human rights are an afterthought.
It is a good idea. Singapore is generally hot and even at night the Temperature might be around 27 Degrees Celsius. So imagine you are at that temperature. I am currently shirtless with a boxer and has a huge fan blowing on me.
2 yrs. ago (Jul. 2017) wife and stayed for one night at that Marina Bay Sands Hotel (Tower 2) Roughly 630 Singapore Dollars; 460 US Dollar. That aircraft carrier looking thing on top spans 320 meters and sports the worlds largest infinity pool. Looking west you get an amazing sunset view from the pool. In Tower 1 there a buffet restaurant called Rise, which has a themed all you can eat buffet. We were there on a Tuesday, so it was Seafood; Crabs, Lobster, Clams, you name it. It was astoundingly amazing; well worth the trip.Every night of the week is a different theme. Singapore itself is so developed, reminds us of, say, Tokyo with all the glitter of lights at night. Oh, and shopping, too - can't forget that; wife loved that part (as all wives would, I guess) happy wife - happy life.
Singapore looks and feels different at night, its pretty serene. If anyone has plans to travel here, please bring along clothes that are cooling as you may be aware by know, our local weather is pretty warm with occasional rains ofcause. Travellers should check out the airport before you leave, you won't get bother before your flight. Just an idea :) happy trip.

I don’t have words to show my love for Singapore. Truly the best city in the world no doubt. Long live Singapore
I have traveled to Vancouver and Calgary. Victoria island was beautiful and a safe place at night in Vancouver. Nature in Calgary and Banff was grand. I like Canada very much!
City workers clean the streets on a regular basis. Littering, spitting etc etc are also punishable by law. There are NEA (National Environmental Agency) agents in plain clothes that will approach you if you commit any such offence and will issue you either a fine, or an order to turn up in Court. That's why the city is clean.
It's a beautiful city, architecture looks like it's from the future, the whole place has a special design, buildings and roads are special lined so the wind can pass through the city because they have hellish summers there, humidity is crazy out there. Also they have pretty strict rules and regulations, no chewing gums on the streets my friends haha. All in all, the place is out of this world..
I lived there (as an ex-pat) for about 7 years, in the mid 1980's. Singapore was a beautiful city then, even before all these new building developments. Singapore, at the time, was in the process of transitioning from the 19th century "shop house" buildings, that lined its streets, to commercial sky scrappers. I also did business in China during that time. I was told by "people in the know", in China, that it was China's plan to copy Singapore's development success and even its rigid government control standards. And there-in is the one and only aspect of Singapore, that I think needs to be refined or adjusted to meet new world standards. The People's Action Party (PAP) was, at least at that time, much like the Communist Party of China. In fact, in many ways, it was even more strict with its people than the CCP was in the 1980's. That aspect, in my opinion, is where Singapore "needs some work".
Yeah I get the point but IIRC during that time period the Cold War was in full swing and they just came out of an undeclared war with the Communists, so I see it less of a "born authoritarian" from the start and more of a "party that grew up in a war zone". They seem to be relaxing a lot these days but they still ain't what anyone would call liberal. They're very conservative. th-cam.com/video/8AMQczu56Jo/w-d-xo.html One of their first Prime Minster's anti-Communist speeches. Grow up in a rough neighborhood and I'd expect some rough edges. lol. Give it time, they'll grow out of it.
In early 80s and 90s PAP govt has to rule with iron fist as citizens then were less educated. Now our govt is more open and take citizens opinion into consideration as the generations are more educated. Nevertheless we are greatful to our pioneer and merdeka generations for their hardships to build this beautiful country. Majulah Singapura.

I visited Singapore 9 years ago and it was dazzling in every possible way. 9 years later, it's even more dazzling.
Amazing video and awesome quality
Miami and Singapore are 2 of the best looking cities in the world. they both have the best modern skylines.
Beautiful. I almost feel like I'm there without leaving the comfort of my home.
When I used to work for Cisco, I went to Singapore once, and I absolutely loved everything about the country. The food, people, culture, even Lee quan yew is one of my heros. I wish I could live and work there.
This is another place I want to visit and will visit thanks for the footage
it brings my childhood memories back, I feel like very nostalgic
Beautiful Video👌😍 I Love Driving & Riding Thru The Night's🙌

Pls dun not drink and drive..
@@deebusoh9023 I Don't Drink & I Definitely Wouldn't Do That Thanks👌
I miss living there, in the ULU Pandan area. some good memories this country has left me and one day I will go back.
I was going to go out, do some shopping, but it's horrible and cold.. I think I shall watch this instead with the fire on! Cheers mate!
Thanks Dave. The sound of a fire sounds great right now! Cheers!
It is a good idea. Singapore is generally hot and even at night the Temperature might be around 27 Degrees Celsius. So imagine you are at that temperature. I am currently shirtless with a boxer and has a huge fan blowing on me.
But it is hot in Singapore
@@BabySonicGT maybe they aren't in Singapore have you ever thought of that

Thank you for the wonderful footage, J Utah! The camera setup looks great. I look forward to seeing your future videos with it! :)
2 yrs.

Singapore is the most perfect city in the world😍😍
Shamik Bera and also Tokyo City too is very charming.

Coming here to comment again after my trip to Singapore this week. This city never ceases to amaze me. The attractions , the cleanliness , the skyscrapers, the food and the people themselves. I don’t have words to show my love for Singapore. Truly the best city in the world no doubt. Long live Singapore
Really beautiful city and great video recording job! 👍
I lived in Singapore in the 90's. It's a great place! 🇸🇬😎👍
The best part is from the 90s to 2010s is where Singapore rapidly improved in like everything.

I like Canada very much!
Hi to frm jakarta...
Such an elegant city! Planning a visit to watch the F1 Grand Prix!
sorry F1 2020 hasbeen cancelled duetocovid-19 pandemic
OMG! How can a city be so clean?
Bcos they are people cleaning it.
By having rules for everything. They even banned chewing gum
City workers clean the streets on a regular basis. Littering, spitting etc etc are also punishable by law. There are NEA (National Environmental Agency) agents in plain clothes that will approach you if you commit any such offence and will issue you either a fine, or an order to turn up in Court.
That's why the city is clean.

it is nice view!nice city!
I love Singapore the most beautiful city in this world.,God bless Singapore
It's a beautiful city, architecture looks like it's from the future, the whole place has a special design, buildings and roads are special lined so the wind can pass through the city because they have hellish summers there, humidity is crazy out there. Also they have pretty strict rules and regulations, no chewing gums on the streets my friends haha. All in all, the place is out of this world..
All using taxpayers $$$$$$$$$
Crazy skyline 🤩🤩
What equipment is used to shoot such a beautiful video!!!!!
Immaculate, illuminant, contemporary and quiet, how a metropolis should be.
Beautiful city !!
such a lovely county, hopefully someday i can move there, greets from Indonesia
I have learned so much from quality comments like this. Thank you!

One of their first Prime Minster's anti-Communist speeches.
In Singapore i used to stay at the York Hotel. I walked in the dark at 29 degrees to the Raffles Hotel for drinking two Singapore slings for 34 SIN $. What a beautiful and clean city. .
What a beautiful city it is!
Wow this is really nice.. Singapore at night! 🥰😍
