Personally I think now we have cubes that have the best technology. I believe that now it comes down to how you like the feeling of the cube.
Always love the atmosphere on your vids! I main the WRM V9 and even though it has some flaws, tightening and setting it up will do the job.

I main the YS3M, and I have the UV version. (I got UV cause I wanted to try it, and it actually wasn't any more expensive when I got it) I think the UV is awesome. I definitely prefer it
Yeah if they were the same price, I would take UV coating everyday. I just don’t feel like it’s worth 10 dollars more (except with gan cubes where you are already spending 70+ dollars, might as well get the best one at that point lol)
i got big hands so i feel tornado v3 would be ok but i prefer weilong v9 ballcore idk dnt know about you
I got the ys3m ballcore (non UV coated version) a month ago and after setting it up got a pb of 15 secs when I usually average 25-26 secs. I was mind blown by how stable, controllable and buttery smooth it felt. But after seeing comments about people preferring the wrm v9, I decided to mod it a week ago by adding 60 additional magnets including egde to core repelling ones! It can easily auto home now and feels even more stable and premium imo. Doesn't get a single lockup and makes me satisfied after every cubing session. I might get the wrm v9 ballcore for Christmas in order to compare them both. Or should getting the tv3 be a better investment considering my ys3m is now kinda similar to the wrm v9? What do you think?
Most important, I really like your videos. Awesome quality and great content as always. And I agree with some guys thinking - lots of awesome cubes available nowadays. It's basically about personal preference, but always nice to get a hint and some introduction from guys much better than me.

Yea, personal preference is the most important when it comes to picking cubing hardware. However I'm always interested in what other people think are the best cubes, so I thought that I would share my opinions as well.
Epic video! I also main the Picube Wrm v9 for 2H. However, OH is my main event, and I prefer the YS3M as blocky cubes are better for one handed imo
Finally the exact video that I was looking for. My picube v9 is arriving on monday. I hope it suits me well and fixes the issues I had with my v9 ballcore!

I was a tv3 hater, it just felt off, and the plastic felt gross, the UV tv3 however is unreal. it feels like a completely new cube and i like it much more than my other cubes now, highly recommend giving it a try

I personally feel like the build quality of tv3s are super inconsistent. My friends say theirs were ALWAYS too fast, while mine was always too slow, though one doesn't have catches and the other catches way too much. I don't really trust the tv3 anymore. I might be wrong though, so please let me know!

This was very nice and overall I'd agree with everything with the exception of the picubeshop v9, but only because I haven't gotten one yet. Btw, did you mean to do zz solves at 3:55 and 5:58 or were they unintentional? They looked pretty smooth haha

My ranking:
5) rs3m original (I honestly do think it’s better than the super)
4) Gan 11 M pro (easily the best gan cube to date imo)
3) Tengyun V1 (my fav cube by far and my main but I can’t realistically rank it higher bc of its problems. Also the best cube for ZZ imo.)
2) Tornado V3 (i have nothing special to say here, it’s good)
1) WRM V9 base version (better than both advancements, stable, fast, basically everything you could want in a Speedcube.)

I can see why you like the standard wrm v9 more than the ball-core. I’m a huge fan of core magnets so whenever a cube has a version with them, I have to get that version. If I had gotten the standard, I’m pretty sure I would have liked it (I’m not sure if it would have been on this list though, because I love the extra stability core magnets add hence why every cube on my list has them).

Wrm v9 is the best out of the three in my opinion.
If you want to save some money GuHong pro is a great choice.
All three cubes are great and you can’t go wrong with any of them.

i just order the basic v9, no ball core, no maglev, just cube, Im excited ive mained a weilong v3 for almost all of my cubing journey and ready for an upgrade

Hey. Great video. I have tv3 flagship, planning to get another cube. Bit confused on rs3v5 bc , guhong pro and ys3m bc. Give thoughts on which will be better. ?
Personally, I prefer the Guhong pro over all of those cubes, however not that many people would agree with me here.
The RS3M v5 and tornado v3 are the ones that most people will like the most. Between those two, I personally prefer the rs3m.
You can't go wrong with any of these cubes though!

My top 5 is very different. At 5 for me is the tornado v3, I can’t deny it’s a good cube but it just doesn’t fit my turning at all. At 4 would be the WRM 2019, I think even now with all this new cube tech it’s a very good cube. At 3 would be the WRM V9 (Ball core), i set it up the be quite slow using heavier lubes like angstrom and I like it but the magnets are a bit too strong imo. Number 2 is the Gan 13. It was my 2 handed main for a while but that one broke. I got a replacement cube and it is now my OH main. Number 1 and my current main would be the Gan 12. I’m not sure why but in my opinion it out performs the 13 for 2handed solving being slightly less stable but more forgiving. Also Gan cubes just fit my turning style

Nice list! I think gan cubes are great especially when they fit your turn style, but they don’t fit mine that well.
I am interested in the gan 14, but I’m afraid that it’s going to be too much like the gan 13. I actually kinda liked the gan 13, but it didn’t fit me very well and I felt that it wasn’t as good as the 12. I’ll probably buy the 14 anyways for content but I don’t feel like spending $80 on a cube that I’m not gonna like that much.
Honestly, it may be weird, but i've put some extra fast lube in the v9, i think i just have really accurate turning😂

@@denel_yt9768 yep. I didn't use dnm because the tv3 was already at a speed I liked.
i think the feeling of the tornado v3 is the best, followed by the tengyun v1, and both cubes have great preformence, but they wear down over time. my tv3 was the best cube ever, but it has had multiple magnets fall out, and eventually the core exploded. the tengyun felt great at first, but there are better cubes out there. personnally, i think the super rs3m with maglev and a ball core is the best cube because once i broke it in for the first time, it never ever got worse despite me dropping it a few times. once it was in the gan 11 case, which was in the pocket of my swim suit, and i accidently sat in a hot tub with it for a few minutes. it was still great, and that wouldve ruined any other cube.

I love the Gan 13 though and its top 7 for me, angstrom (setup myself) is almost perfect. Where would you put the 13?
I think I would have it 7. It’s not a bad cube, it just doesn’t fit me that well. I’m hoping that the gan 14 is better for me.

I'm confused about which cube is good for me.I have a fast turning style, and like smooth cubes. Can you give me some recommendations?
Sounds like you would like the tornado v3 or the wrm v9 (the tv3 is smoother than the wrm v9, while the v9 is faster)

@@Gnnnnnbnnn Yeah I've had some problems with my tv3 (I have one of the old batch ones). I believe that issue was fixed in the new batch tho.
I've been testing the Dayan Guhong pro and it's basically a looser, faster, cheaper tornado v3 if you want to look into that.

Yea the cube I have is one of the later batches. The catches I get are mostly from this cube not being very forgiving

That’s a really cool mod! I’ve considered adding edge repelling magnets to my ys3m. Maybe I’ll do that in the future!
Personally I prefer the wrm v9, but I think that the tv3 is the safer cube to get since it’s more stable and has more adjustment.
