For 40 years I had athletes foot ,tried everything, been to doctors and hospitals, finally tried hydrogen peroxide. In 1 week I was cured. Not a single doctor told about this ,they just gave a prescription and told me to come back in a month. It's all about the money. There's no money in a cure but there is in a treatment.

My paternal grandmother would soak her feet in Epsom salt and water every week. Even at age 100, she had the nicest looking feet and healthy toenails .
Much better looking feet and toenails than some of the younger people in the family. Everyone should take as much care of their feet like they take care of their teeth. After all, our feet carry all our weight every moment we stand up, and everytime we walk, jog, or run.

Just an FYI.... I am 62 yrs old and I have never had to sand my heels. The trick is to make sure you apply some type of cream/oil on your feet immediately after you bath and then place on socks to let the cream/oil absorb in. If you do this daily, especially in the colder months, your feet will look fabulous! I use coconut oil, which is antimicrobial. My feet look as young as my 26 y.o. daughter's feet. I am a nurse and I had a young woman who I cared for about 10 years ago now. One day I saw her limping on one foot. I asked to examine the foot and on the bottom was a 1/4" deep and 1.5" long fissure in her heel. I sent her to see her doctor to make sure there was no infection and I also told her how to care for her feet as I have described above and within a month her feet looked great...

Note never apply cream and oils between toes as it can actually cause bacteria and fungal growth. Fungi like warm most dark place with poor oxygen which is why ppl.get fungi mostly in groin, feet and under breast and pits. The peroxide oxygenates the feet where it's hard for fungus to maintain growing.

Adding a little baking soda to the water & peroxide increasing the skin softening effect. Baking soda acts as a mild surfactant, essentially making water wetter. The sodium in the baking soda also helps kill most fungi.

Also when cleaning your feet take a old toothbrush that you've bleached clean and scrub around your toenails into the sides and under them it removes built up gunk that can turn into a breeding ground for bacteria or fungus.

I do use Hydrogen Peroxide for many things. I also do a once a month soak in a bath of very strong tea; it takes out all the infections, and fights athletes (recommended to me by a medical doctor years ago); I have added some Epson salt to that tea recently. The tea needs to be hot when you soak your feet. I tend to soak for about a half hour, or I may jut put on movie, and soak. Be warned; it does feel pretty good, and you may fall asleep. Make sure to dry your feet well, and have the floor covered so you do not get any tea on the floor, unless you are on a tile floor, and mop it up immediately if any tea spills; it will stain what ever it touches. I generally have one towel dedicated to drying my feet, and do nothing else to my feet ; save let them have some air for a an hour or ore afterwards. This method saved my feet, when I had a major infection that was spewing out from between my feet. It dried it up over time, when I did his daily. Once I was clear, I went back to once month. The doctor I had seen for that infection could not prescribe much. I also used witch hazel to add to the drawing out of the infection. Have a great week!!!!

@@sharonrouse3747 Lately, I have been using Tetley tea. But any type of tea should be good. Note: some teas have more of the active ingredient that absorbs, and helps in healing. The key is to brew a lot of tea at once for about an hour or two; use around 15 to 25 bags, depending on how much water you have in your pot. The tea will be way too strong for drinking, but perfect for soaking ones feet. I would normally by a box of 100 or more tea bags at a low price.

This method is really good foot care, but don't forget about the other things your feet come into contact with. Socks should get a vinegar soak occasionally, especially if you have toe fungus problems, your shoes are also getting the fungus or bacteria transferred to them. Tennis shoes can be washed in a bucket of soap and white vinegar, air dry in the sun when possible. And your fingerand toe nail clippers should be scrubbed and disenfected on a regular basis if you have fungal problems

I get cold sores. Before you get all "STD'd" out about it I've had them since I was a kid.
If you look at every school picture I had one - except my Senior Picture because we took that earlier in the year.
But it took a long time for me to realize what triggered them.
I found out besides stress the sudden changes in weather also do it for me.
As do the acids in raw tomatoes, oranges, lemons, limes and even apples.
Cooking them seems to be OK so apple pie and most cooked tomato products are ok. Although I just found out that not all jars of salsa are cooked so that has presented an issue.
But what I've found is that applying hydrogen peroxide right away on the spot that is tingling really reduces and lots of times (about 80% of the time) stops the outbreak.
I use Q-Tips soaked in hydrogen peroxide and keep them pressed to the spot for about 10 minutes.
I do this about every 4 to 6 hours the first day. And then about 3 times a day for the next 2 days.
    I also apply Abreva.
I know the peroxide works because there have been lots of times I haven't had any Abreva and it still takes care of the sore.
Usually after day 2 it is gone completely. I think the peroxide dries them out before they get a chance to fill with fluid.
Try it. Hope it works for you as well.

I've known about the benefits of hydrogen peroxide for years but I never thought of using it on my feet. I've got two calluses on my feet that are just terrible and when I went to a podiatrist he was either going to give me a $500 pair of shoes or a jar of cream. I couldn't afford the shoes. I noticed he had some amputees in his office so I guess that's really where he was thinking I was headed
But using your cure was better than any callus removing creams lotions potions or anything else I've used and these calluses are literally being rubbed off my feet NOW.
I also added some (approx. tablespoon) baking soda after a bit and that may have helped even more, I'm not sure. But I am very thrilled with this discovery and will be using this method again. Thank you so much.

Why? The most you will get is 10% at a regular store. It won't do more than cause a slight burn. Now. If we're talking 99%, then it's flammable and makes a great fuel to start a fire. Now that's cool. But, now. Peroxide is the least dangerous thing you could be messing with. At least as far as home chemicals go. Alcohol can kill you very quickly. Ask the dumb dumb who bathed in it and died. Chlorine is extremely toxic and can actually grow even more deadly bacteria than what normal water can, and ammonia? Well. It's a natural baby killer. So... yeah. Peroxide? Pshhh!

Must be careful if you have wounds, especially deep ones. It destroys new, tender tissue growth. I’m a nurse and we used peroxide for decades for wound care. Stopped about 15 years ago.

I noticed the pedicure places soak my/ your feet, then use a scrubby sponge to remove dead skin, making my/ your feet baby smooth again.
I thought 💡 “why not use a similar kitchen sponge and gently scrub my dead skin in the shower.” So I did. It works so well and no real clean up chore since it just showers away any particles - they’re very small, and wouldn’t clog anything up. 😉
The hydrogen peroxide, would be a great addition to my routine, just need a small foot tub in there, too👍

*Putting on lotion afterwards is so important!!!* all of these things dry your feet out (even just soaking them in warm water) so make sure to rehydrate your feet or you'll just make your calluses worse in the long run

I used to have my ex use bleach and dish soap for athletes' foot stinky feet. My whole family works construction, and they started doing it as well. It seems a bit harsh, but it works. Ty for your video. I'm glad I found your channel.

    • @tracyjohnson5023

For really stinky feet that even have that smell after a shower, it's likely bacteria. My husband had that issue 20 years ago. Cure is use benzoyl peroxide 5 or 10% acne stuff all over feet and between toes for 7 days after shower. Abnormal strong smell gone. Doesnt matter what brand, gel, cream, lotion as long as it's benzoyl peroxide 5-10%
My husband still does 1 application 1-2x a month and has for 20 years and never come back.
This isn't for normal sweaty feet smell or fungus like athletes foot. Hubby tried ACV, witch hazel, peroxide, listerine, lotrimin, baking soda, tea tree oil and smell would be back by morning. The benzoyl peroxide only thing that fixed it.

I just spray it on feet with mix of ACV and peroxide. Works great. After shower or bath just spray on dry feet , and leave it. It will dry itself in no time. It protects and stops fungus from forming.
