This week's cake is Standing Buttercream Cake.
Chuseok, Korean Thanksgiving day is coming soon.
So, I wanted to make a cake that looks like a full moon we have during Chuseok.
But when I put a lot of flowers on it, I couldn't find the feeling of the moon anymore.
I always find it whenever I make a cake, there is a big gap between the ideal and the reality.
But I desided to think of it as a full moon cake by myself.
This cake has built with my favorite Nutella chocolate sheet and swiss meringue buttercream.

ingredient
♥︎ Nutella Chocolate cake (15cm)
100g cake flour
7g cocoa powder
6g baking powder
2g salt
110g Nutella
110g unsalted butter
67g sugar powder
2 eggs
1 egg yolk
♥︎ Swiss Meringue Buttercream
152g egg whites
220g sugar
1.5g salt
350g unsalted butter
10g milk
5g rum
Vanilla extract 10g
♥︎ Sugar syrup
60g water
20g syrup
*Usually syrup is water: sugar = 2:1, but I reduced the sugar.
Reducing sugar also reduces shelf life.

1M, #195 (top tip), #16 (6 star tip), #352 (leaf tip)

I did look different, the buttercream. I saw the change. 👍 Also that pink/golden trick is good, I usually use the tiniest amount of brown & it "works", but also makes it kinda blah. Yours still looked satin-y & lovely. 😊
