Very good advice, thank you. It's cool to know I went about it pretty much like you said. I didn't use a crate, I used a tote. I had 2, one for the bedroom and one for the living room. I had to get larger ones as my puppy grew, but now I have two beds. At night he stays right in the bedroom all night, he adjusted very well that way. I do one thing for comfort for him at night and he has never cried and that is I put the shirt I was wearing that day for him to sleep with. Thank you for your videos.
Ty Gentlemen. Well presented and informative. I have rescued Boerboel at 6wks of age. Found at garbage dumpster. I wish I had your web earlier. He toilet trained easily. Sleeping alone, not so well. He has night terrors. Dylan is My second Boerboel. Former, Blade, was 14 yrs. Enjoy.
Anywhere he wants! I draw the line when I leave the bed and upon my return, he is on MY spot...keeping it warm? Telling me I'm not welcome? That's just too much to ask! My 2 yo boy knows in his crate, on the floor, and on the bed are a-ok with me! Yes, the crate training has been wonderful for any and all my pups.
