I’ve been there for Ayurveda panchakarma and yoga TTC. I have also been to isha center in Coimbatore. Both are excellent. But Neyyar Dam is the best experience of my life(yet) Thanks for reminiscing my memory. Pls: you may also want to visit the uttarkashi ashram- for next level sadhana experience.

I spent two weeks there in 2008. It is looking very beautiful. I definitely recommend this location for a spiritual and yoga immersion. Thanks for sharing. Namaste

SATGURU SHIVA NAND JI was a great philosopher, philanthropist, Saint and a enlightened guru, he was GURU of my grandfather, he did a lot of work in promoting Hinduism all over the world as well as in india , even here in New York we have SHIVA NAND ASHRAM.
Sivananda was the greatest man ever born on earth.I read practice of brahmcharya by him.

I worry for how long these things are gonna sustain in Kerala..
No disturbance from communist govt or other religions.
Communism and other Religions are an issue.
It will stay in kerala, as kerala need tourism money.. yoga, temples, ashrams, ayurveda etc...brings money to kerala people so keralities will keep up these... and most of these ashram inmates are not keralities..
Communism is a real threat. They support Islam and looting the money from temples..

2 week yoga vacation program is there. But it is not free. Rs 500 per day for everything
