Great goals man! I want a redtail catfish in a swimming pool haha until i can afford a massive acrylic aquarium to hold it. I also want a shark tank but i have only had a crab tank in terms of saltwater aquariums so im new to the saltwater world of aquariums.
I'm not a saltwater guy, but these really make me want to make a saltwater tank. The only problem is I'm not experienced with saltwater and the large tank they need.
I've had 3 bamboo sharks in a 600 gallon for the past 4 months now. 2 baby brown banded bamboo and a 27 inch teenage white spotted bamboo. Amazing animals. These are basically water puppies. I mean tail wagging happy to see you please come give me attention water puppies. But make no mistake. They are still sharks. They will jerk their heads left and right and they have sharp teeth. My wife got bit lightly while hand feeding. Blood ECT. I 100% recommend
I have Bamboo sharks and just had to have a Japanese Leopard shark as well. On a scale of 1-10 with a 10 being the black tip reef shark....The Japanese leopard is an 8.5 as far as the shark look. The brown banded bamboo sharks are a 7 The white spotted bamboo shark is a 6.5 I paid 100 for each bamboo shark egg I paid 1400 for the Japanese Leopard shark Is the Leopard worth 14 XD more than the bamboo shark NOPE Actually now having both I prefer the bamboo babies to my leopard baby In short... Get a brown banded bamboo shark. Puppy dog intelligence and by far the best bang for your buck
With the epaulette shark, how large of a tank would you need? Because I'm planning on getting one but I'm not really sure on the tank size, I've been doing research, but it just says they don't require much space.

What's the first shark you showed
Bamboo
@@MajesticAquariumsTV I was meaning the one you called a fella in the big tank that was kind of dark
What size aquarium is required to support one of the bamboo sharks?
Dr Venustrium A large tank, epaulette's are better as they need less space as they don't move as much as these but still require a large aquarium!
start with about 1000lt then have a plan to move it on when it grows
This fish can get 1 meter !. Most of them will be sold to small tanks ;(
you still need a big tank
