I was there the next night. It was an awesome show all round.
That other Garfunkel & Oates song is actually titled "The Loophole". It would have been funny to see Derek Bischoff help do an arrangement of it for church organ, and a horn section like Contraption, and then let the audience chant the chorus, "Fuck me in the ass if you love Jeezus".
Is "Sex with Ducks" any less popular, now that sleazy Yale law scammer Pat Robertson is dead?
Missed me sans the quirky drums is so much more unsettling than normal. And this performance has so much character inside it! You really made a show out of your show!!!

God, I keep wanting to say "please pull your stool nearer to the piano...you're going to fall off!". Great show though. If I didn't love you before...you then did Jump by Derek and Clive! And there is some AWESOME piano playing going on. And the way you interact with a crowd is just as close and personal as your blogs. You rock Amanda

I was fortunate enough to attend both Union Chapel shows. Perhaps Contraption were worth the entry fee by themselves. Different set lists both night with some crossover and Whitney joining in on Delilah was awesome. Delilah and Bed Song back to back nearly ruined me.

Wasn't so fond of the brass band stuff, but everything else was awesome.

She has the passion, the great lyrics, and gusto, but as a musician she sucks. She needs vocal lessons and her piano and ukelele riffs are basic.

+TheFluorescentNinja I was trying to give her a chance. Metal musicians are much more complex in their knowledge of music. They are at the level of classical musicians, whereas Amanda is far less complex. She could improve the complexity of her music, and it would be much better. She has tons of potential.
