I miss old school hard rock/heavy metal songs that don't have those "epic power metal with operatic singing", and I thank the singer for singing her heart out, and the band for this sound. Another independent I have stumbled across, and will be subscribing to on the strength of this slow-build Power Metal epic. I loved everything about this, but particularly the powerhouse lead vocal and crisp production. Another great find! A must for the playlist. My Score: Very Good 4*

I'm partially deaf and even I can hear that power in her voice. Not all of it mind you, losing range and clarity, low-mid dB deaf will do that to a guy. But damn I know this is good...my soul knows. Now what quest do I have to be sent on in order to fix my hearing loss?!To bad I didn't hear this song 4 years ago...but I did hear their earlier stuff so I should be thankful :)

If I were to put Lisa on a podium, it would be along with Eric Adams from Manowar, way at the top with very few others. Why doesn't anymore people recognize her voice? I'm very picky when it comes to vocals, especially women vocalist for metal bands. Too many are acting a pretty voice and it's easy to spot and some don't have much range and their lows sound weak. Lisa uses her real voice, she is a real signer and it sounds natural no matter the tone, low or high it's all freaking awesome!! If you guys ever decide to do a cover in the future I would like to plant the idea of Manowar Heart of Steel!
