Excellent video, what a wonderful walk and spectacular castle and grounds. Thank you for taking us along. PS I think you missed the Queen Victoria mailbox set into the wall of the reddish stone house (about 2.12m) half way along the main street.
I'm pleased you enjoyed the walk, it is a fantastic Castle and grounds. Yes I did miss the post box, I will check it out next time I visit.🤣 Thanks for watching. 😀
As you say, a very well kept village, lovely to see. What you referred to as the YMCA building looked like the original village school, tall windows for light. Not sure the ymca was going back in the late 1800’s. The sea looked nice and calm, but I bet you didn’t go in for a swim! But too cold! The castle and gardens do look gorgeous….a lot of work keeping the gardens looking so good. As you say, all credit to the head gardener and team….Thankyou for this very interesting visit. Best wishes from Norfolk! 🙋♀️👍🙏👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you for your comment. It certainly is a place worth visiting, and no, I didn't go for a swim 🥶 Thank you for watching, I'm pleased you enjoyed it.😀
I'm pleased you enjoyed watching the video. I would allow one hour to walk to the Castle from Golspie, along the coast. Please bear in mind that you can't gain access to the Castle from the coastal side. On a lovely day, it's a stunning walk.
Decent chip shop
It's very beautiful.

Looks lovely. How long is the walk from Golspie before you get to the castle?

Is the garden still free without going into the castle?
When I visited, they did open castle grounds for free, once main entrance had closed.
@@Brummie-In-The-Highlands thanks. I am driving from Inverness to John O Groats (day trip) and we may not have the time to visit the castle.
