This was a good video. I have a Car Loan with Penfed and they actually show the Fico score instead of Vantage. Also -- with the GM card, you can see your offer, and then if you freeze your Transunion, you can actually get that card without a Hard Pull. On the business side, there is no Hard Pull. Great info though. Be blessed.
@@Livin_legendz on the GM card? I did the unfreeze to get your offer, and then freeze before accepting it. That is through Equifax, and the same trick works with Transunion on the Personal side. I got 2 biz cards and a personal card from GM without a hard pull.
FYI, i dont know, it will show you the actual starting limit, but AmEX has the "apply with confidence" feature on their website. i just used it to apply for their Gold card and was approved & accpeted the offer before they hard pulled my credit. Im assuming for non-charge cards, you'll see the SL.

Very interesting. Were you able to get the business card from FNBO without a prior relationship? I'm shocked you were denied the X1 card. They're approving so many average people.

Android.....Also, ty for the DFCU recommend, but I will say that it was the most rigorous, by far, credit card application I've ever done. Like you mentioned, pay stubs, IDs, marriage certificate, references etc. The whole process took almost a month, but we did end up with a $20K limit; so thumbs up for that, but my gawd....
Just cancelled my X1 card today. “Over complicated process 😂” sums it up pretty accurately. Having to toggle on and off the boost is so annoying. And I’m sick of metal cards.
Great video- i'm familiar with all these cards, and i have a few- i was pre-qualified for the DCU card but never pulled the trigger- the reason, everything i read points to POI. They make you jump some hoops. Not okay.
As far as the Geo restriction. They may have changed it but I have a branch here in Texas but I was out of the area. They wouldn't let me open up a regular bank account at the branch. I can only open up an online bank account I believe they told me you have to be within a 40 or 50 Mi radius of the bank and I was just outside of that radius
@@calbarton thinking about it now it might have been 25 MI they went by my home address even though I work all over the Dallas area they still wouldn't let me get a regular bank account I told him I drive by their Branch quite often. This is all before they lowered my limit which by the way is still 11,000 they haven't lowered it again thankfully
I love that I do have the FNBO Evergreen for like a yr and some months, I wanted to apply for another of their cards, got denied becuz “Im outside their service area” lol. Like, I already have a card with u guys. Hahahahahaha.
@@calbarton - Exactly. Like, u guys contradicting urselves. I guess I got in before they put up their geo fence, a yr later trying to apply for another card and then must’ve put up the fence.
Same here- had them for awhile, but denied everytime for an additional card citing the same reason. One thing I love about them, when requesting an increase, they up it by 5k each time.

FNBO is not a credit union it's just a regular Bank

BEWARE OF DOVER ... After being pre approved, they asked for a ton of paper work. I got tired of sending them stuff, so I cancelled. A WAST OF TIME.
