- Today Marie will show you how to make Cinnamon Roll Coffee Cake for Christmas Breakfast! This is our favorite coffee cake, for all year long, but especially at the holidays.

Here's the recipe for this awesome breakfast cake!
Batter:
3 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
4 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 cups milk
2 large eggs
4 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup salted butter , melted
Crumble:
1 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Icing:
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1-2 tablespoon water
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Enjoy!

My mother used to use a yellow cake mix and finish as you did when she found out one of her friends was coming over for "coffee" in the afternoon. It is good even if you don't put on a glaze.

My 11 year old daughter asked if she could make this all by herself. I set up my tablet on the counter and she made it while she watched. It turned out wonderful. We took some on a platter to church and they thought it was delicious. My daughter was so proud of herself. Thank you for doing these step by step videos. I made your coffee cake this afternoon for tomorrow's breakfast with coffee. When the guy's came home this evening after eating dinner, they ate more than half of the cake. I even had a piece, it was delicious. Can't wait till morning to have another with my coffee.....that is if my guy's leave it alone through the night. Thank you for sharing this awesome recipe.

Thats it , you keep making me hungry right after I eat. Lol. I made a quick fruit cake yesterday to use up all the dried fruit that my kids opened and didn't eat all of. I added about a cup of dried cherries for something special and I was wondering what to ice it with, I think I'll do this drizzle as its very sweet already so doesn't need thick icing. It was super heavy on the fruit. And tastes delicious. Marie looks beautiful in red and is completely at home on the farm and kitchen. What a blessing daughters are . I make coffee cake a few times a year, I add apple and I don't glaze. I love seeing differnt ways. YUM Edit: I do a brown sugar and cinnamon crumble on top. Almost forgot that part lol. Getting old
