    Seems like Deep Pocket RV Queen Sheets would fit best. Short queen RV mattresses are 60 by 75 inches.

    I'm about 6'2" and I don't mind if my feet hang a bit. I will have to give this a try.
    You are right! It is impossible to find videos about this kit!

    I was looking to see if anyone has successfully washed the pillow topper. We have some spots but it says “Do not wash, spot clean only “. Wondering if a handwashing gentle cycle might be ok

    Thanks! I wonder if a foam mattress topper for a full or queen bed could be trimmed to fit the Lovesac cushions, or, if using a standard queen or full topper, with standard or full fitted sheets, if the overhang of the topper would take up enough volume “inside” the fitted sheet such that it would fit tightly around the entire 4-seat bed.

      That makes sense! I'd be curious to see someone try that!

    I am a woman; the pillow cases are probably given to make sure you don't let anyone use "Lov Sac" unprotected sofa cushions for sleeping pillows ***** hair products++++ ,;-) I would add a "water proof" mattress pad to the guest bed set up (I am a woman) **** otherwise **** Thank you**** Great Product Review!!!!!

    • @thesharkbyte8130
      @thesharkbyte8130  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I had that thought except I don't think these pillow cases are large enough to fit over the sofa cushions! But I agree that a more protective mattress pad would be nice. Thankfully the sactional covers are machine washable. A LoveSac employee told me the only thing she's aware of that can't get washed out of one of their covers is motor oil.

    Thank you, this is extremely helpful! I will just use the foam topper I've been using on an air mattress for our guests. Glad I don't actually need this kit to convert it 😊
    Edit: If it helps, 4 seats set up this way is about 58" wide x 70" long. A queen is 60" x 80" and a double/full is 54" x 75". So one could use a topper and sheet set from either size and make it work. (A "short queen" or "RV queen" is usually 60" x 75" so sets made for RVs could be used as well!)

    Thanks for straight up FYI!
    Question: I’m moving into an assisted living/independent living home. My little independent home is less than 800 sq ft. I’ve been looking for multi use furniture for 24 hour use. I’m sleeping on a mattress comparable to Tempurpedic. Does this have support but cuddles to your body?

    • @thesharkbyte8130
      @thesharkbyte8130  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've never tried a Tempurpedic mattress so I can't really speak to the comparison. I'd hate to give you advice for such an important decision only to have you suffering from back pain down the road.
      I suggest finding a Lovesac showroom near you and lying down on one of their couches there to see how you like it. The pillow top makes it softer but doesn't impact the amount of support you'll get. Make sure to test out different fills, too, as the amount of support you get will vary based on this.

      What metal support thing? The only metal in the kit is the bar that keeps everything compact and tucked inside the sactional seat when stored.

    Thank you so much for making and sharing this video! I'm in the process of figuring out what kind of configuration I'd like and am feeling a little overwhelmed with the options, so this is great! You mentioned you sprang for the storage seat option for all of your seats, are you happy you went that route or have any regrets? Do you use the storage space as much as you thought you would, does it feel any less comfortable after time? Thanks so much for taking the time to respond! :)

    • @thesharkbyte8130
      @thesharkbyte8130  ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely no regrets with the storage seats. We store blankets in the ottoman since that is the easiest one to access and blankets are commonly wanted while using this sactional. Guest rest bedding is in another one. Extra pillows in another. I think we have maybe one empty storage seat right now but at some point it will be filled and we have been smart about using these seats to store only things we don’t need regular access to so we aren’t constantly removing and replacing cushions.
      And no noticeable deterioration in comfort, either. After all this time we finally had a couple of house guests sleep in the reconfigured sactional for the first time recently and they said they were super comfortable, no complaints!

    They call this a queen size bed IT IS NOT!! More like an in-between full and a queen..
    A queen size bed is 60x80!!! That bed is only 60x70 so it is 10 in off a queen size when it comes to THE MOST IMPORTANT PART THE LENGTH!!
    I am 6'1 That is 73 inches I would need so my feet would not be hanging off. So when I sleep on it this way my feet dangle off 3 in!! The way it would work for someone like my size. Is that you would have to add one more deep and that would make it 87 by 70 which is more like the size of a king.. I don't know if they have any fitted sheets for that setup!! But I'm sure you can buy a pad online that you can cut to any size you want and a lot cheaper than what they offer..

    • @thesharkbyte8130
      @thesharkbyte8130  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah I cover all of this in the video and describe my solution to this problem. It's definitely shorter than a queen and you need to add a seat/cushion to the end to accommodate taller people if there isn't enough space for them to sleep diagonally. I had a guest sleep with this described setup last year and I simply untucked the sheet on his side so he could rest his feet on the extension, no biggie.

      @@thesharkbyte8130 do u have the slanted backs?
      That's what I got it adds 3inches cus of the slant perfect for me I'm 6'1
      Just big enough!!

      I had to look this up, the angled sides are new since I was last in the market for sactional products. Very interesting! I'll have to keep this in mind for future upgrades to my setup! Thanks for pointing this out.

      @@thesharkbyte8130 I didn't think it would make a difference because I'm a newbie but my wife wanted to slanted back to be able to lean back more turns out it gave you at least three more inches of room in the queen size and I don't have to make it a king size for us to sleep
