The best way for growing cuttings is to root in water... Keep couttings in water for a week or two... You'll see the roots ... Then you can transfer them to soil.

Mam, Poore Bangalore mein clay soil hi milti hai..bahut hard aur reddish colour ki hoti hai..ismein bahut saare plants lagte hi nahi hai..jade to specially..uske liye kya upaay hai..bajari bhi milao wo soil hard ho rahti hai.. bajari bhi yahaan river sand nahi hai..manufactured sand hai,jo gittiyon ko peesne ke baad powder nikalta hai..
