I swear, schools in Europe have gone nuts. This debate and also having 100 gender identities… being able to identify as a “cat“ or a table lamp🙄 I’m an American, and I went to a Catholic school till the age of 12. Yes, we wore school uniforms but girls still had a choice of wearing pants or a uniform dress or skirt. On the days I had gym class the girls wore gym shorts. It’s not that hard or complicated. It really irks me that these adults are trying to FORCE their “forward, thinking” onto young, impressionable kids, who are only just discovering who they are themselves. It’s almost like being JUST a male or female is a bad thing over in Europe now…people, businesses, schools, etc. are too scared to not be considered “woke” enough or politically correct.
Just have skirts and trousers and let the girls choose which one they are comfortable. Boys can wear either trousers or knee length shorts. Problem solved.
Some kids just cannot afford to wear a different outfit everyday..That is the main reason why I think uniforms are a better choice...this is so childish on so many levels...then the kids will be bullied because they dont have nice enough clothes to wear..all this is so crazy to me
So you're in favor of a dictatorship, where people are forced to wear only one thing & not given a choice? If you aren't a communist, then you should be, you would make a good one.
I'm a woman who's never worn a skirt since she was admitted to Marshall Tito's Pioneers at the age of 6. I find the idea of banning SKIRTS in schools in western Europe a logical continuation of the banning of girls in the said schools - a preposterous one. We just spent 20 years convincing people not to ban MEN from wearing skirts and now suddenly some mentally ill asylum patients are pointing out WOMEN wearing skirts offends them?
My Grandaughter is 12, her and all her friends are obsessed with what they look like. I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve tried explaining it’s school not a fashion show, it falls on deaf ears. They can wear shorts, trousers or the school skirt and they ALL wear skirts.
What if we were to say, all students must wear skirt and trousers are being done away with - everyone would go wild so why is it always the fem stuff that removed. I was a tomboy wore predominantly trousers in school as soon as I had a choice (high school) but does that mean the fem girls I grew up with should be forced to do the same - no. In teen years, male, female or trans, you should be able to choose what to wear within the remit of the school uniform like shirt or poloshirt, cardigan/blazer/branded jumper, black skirt or black trousers, whatever their options are, there should be a couple to choose from that fit the school's brand/uniform x
Wear what you want. Obviously decency needs to play a part. I don't get this short skirt thing where you can see your undies but people should be allowed to wear whatever as long as it's decent.
Put a length restriction on skirts problem solved When I was at school it was in place some 40 years ago And shorts under PE skirts Not hard is it to sort But was allowed trousers in winter Why bring transgender in to it That is discrimination against the other genders On a whole
All boys should be made to wear skirts, the girls to be made to wear trousers, and any inbetweeners made to wear shorts and caps. Everything will then be fine... Utter madness.
@@edmundprice5276 If you read wikipedia "Trousers as women's clothing", apparently women started to wear trousers around 1850s to show defiance of the norms where only men wear trousers.
Needing to accommodate trans is annoying to me but I think he’s missing the point. However I rather hate trousers on girls. If a girl likes to be as feminine as she can be and wear a skirt that is worth accommodating
I've subscribed back as of yesterday, as I don't like the vultures circling. However, you did yourselves a great disservice by handling Mark Steyn, Dan Wootton, Laurence Fox, and, perhaps, Calvin Robinson like you did (also, why I unsubscribed). If you believe in free speech, they should have been kept on. Mark is challenging Ofcom in Court in June. You ought to have done the same.
The right thing to do is like Piers said:GIVE the students the CHOICE to wear either, not just say "no skirts"
The School I went to girls could choose whether they wanted to wear trousers or skirts. ZA
I know. Such a simple solution! Why all the fuss?? RIDICULOUS

You're kidding right, this came from America, culture wars created to distract. Literally who cares what a school uniform is

Did Morgan go to school ?
The women on the show want to ban skirts. They are each wearing dresses!!!!!!
They are not at school contrary to the young student girls
funny, I bet she doesn't realize or is it she?

As a girl and a Muslim, wearing a skirt helps modesty and is part of religious rights.
All boys should be made to wear skirts, the girls to be made to wear trousers, and any inbetweeners made to wear shorts and caps. Everything will then be fine... Utter madness.
Guess if you wanted to wear a Kilt ,that'd be out of the question too.
Mmmm
this whole trans thing is so out of control... banning skirts now sigh
If they ban skirts for school girls, there are many who would stop sending their children to school for moral / religious reasons.
What religious reasons would those be?
Women have worn trousers for centuries

If I had to wear pants at my private school I would’ve HATED it, we had the option to wear either khaki pants or the skirt and 99% chose skirts
And I don’t want some man, deciding what girls should wear to school. Let this be a decision of the women, the mothers and school teachers.
Skirts should be banned for all among other dress code updates.

She trust teachers even when they should be nowhere near a classroom they are all activists
Give them a choice. They get to chose between skirts or pants.
Make uniforms just that: uniforms, same for boys and girls and the obvious default would be trousers. Practical and unisex. Equality.
Skirt us fine, short skirts for children is morally very wrong
When i was in school we changed into clothes for p.e.
She wants to ban skirts
i hate the internet.
Our whole world evolving now around transgender..sick to death of hearing about it
If boys can wear skirts to school too then leave the whole situation alone simple

Piers never actually listens to his guests he just tells them what he thinks they think. It's terrible journalism
Piers needs to go to school to learn that its rude to interupt and talk over another speaker. Even when hes right.
Im sure whe wouldn't be as supportive if thr skirt ban if men started wearing them.....silly lady(?)
Good for Piers M. He speaks for the sensible adult in the room.
Let
Piers Morgan speak…….he is the only one speaking sense!
He's such a snowflake
