Right, cuz if you were a child in the 80's, you weren't watching He-Man or Voltron. No, you were glued to the television to see Luke and Laura get married. Ugh, these guys were terrible back then.
cooliovasquez I would say this is one segment that Opie managed to control his ego pretty well. They went in hard on him specifically a few times. Got to admit, I was shocked.
For everyone saying opie was being sensitive, I think his inability to be funny is affecting the way he is coming off. He's trying to make jokes and everyone thinks he's trying to defend himself for real. He's not being sensitive, he just happens to be one of the least funny broadcasters in the history of radio.
Anthony turned 19 in April of 1980, about two weeks from the point at which the school year and high school in its entirety ended for seniors. Anthony was never a minor in the '80s.

NorthJerseyJabroni Anthony needs to repeat every joke another 50 times, cause it's funnier like that.
It's literally because Opie is stupid and so he thinks he's being clever with that line.

Such a hack comment. @NorthJerseyJabroni is a jerkoff.
The Luke & Laura thing still gets me. That episode aired in 1981. Even people born in the 70's would've been too young to give a shit about that.

And of course the fantastic use of visuals to fit with what they talk about. Like when they showed Opie in the 80s and the jordache jeans etc.
