Mike Willett i agree somewhat, im def not one of those over zealous opie haters. He was great at ship steering (especially durin jocktober, showin his knowledge of the industry), but MAN the latter half of the shows run he got bad. Constant yelling like a girl, hittin the brakes on bits etc. His hate & jealousy made him lose his way & touch to the detriment of the show
Jimmy talking about doing hawaiian stuff like drinking pineapple juice, Ant asking if them having the six is like having someone's back, this one was full of bombs
Wow, how the mighty have fallen. I was looking up this video, and came across some old broadcasts. They went from dope mixes to losing their dignity. I mean, losing their 6. Reminds me of KTU in NYC.
@@johnnylove2073 Allow me to explain, you adorable little pillow biter. It should only be the "Power 9 show" if the name of the show was the "Power nine six show". But the name of the show is the "Power ninety-six show". So whether you steal, subtract, remove, erase, burn, etc., the six from the ninety-six, you're left with ninety, not nine. Do you understand?
33:03 I've listened to this bit a hundred times and I'm still curious about what joke Jim was going for here. For some reason I always assumed it had something to do with Steve C.
@@IIIlIIIIlIIIII That's definitely up his alley, but I feel like Jim wouldn't censor himself unless it was something REALLY close to home. After all, he made plenty of Connor Peterson jokes.
I bet they did a piece of research that showed people were forgetting the full station sign. Too many people thought they were Power 90 or Power 90.6, so their idea was to use this as a way to get people to remember it. That was the theory. This episode is great.
Rumor is Op is still waiting for the “Fez’s from around the world” bit to this very day.
Opie’s blood curdling whine after hearing the thief’s voice was actually funny

It's okay to say Opie says some funny things sometimes, you don't have to be shy
He had his moments, without him the ship wouldn’t have had this magical crew.
Opie was perfectly fine when he wasn't in a bad mood. It's just that he was in a bad mood like 80% of the time.
That's the funniest thing he's ever uddered in 40 years of radio

Love the Charles Lee Ray laugh at 15:53
Sam’s response to their rage is hilarious

Wouldn’t it just be the power 9 morning show? The 6 was stolen, not replaced with a zero
Tss tss But… 6 - 6 = 0
Yes, but if you take the 6 away from 96, you have 90.
@@Cheka__you don't get it. Someone STOLE the 6, not subtracted it. It should be Power 9! Also, I'm gay.

He said it
Probably Jean-Binet Ramsey or Madeline McCann

Anybody check to see who the Power 96 thief actually was? He was on VH1. Maybe it was Michael Ian Black.
Did they ever get their 6 back?
POWER NINETY FFFFTTTT

I could listen to a 1000 fugitive bits lol Opie was wrong to ban them
I actually agree with opie on this one
@@jamesbailey3266 I don’t think the other guys disagreed with the fugitive bits being banned.
oh this ol thing???
25:11 A nice bomb by Anthony.
NOW THIS! THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR ALL MY LIFE!! FUCK POWER 9TH!

15:48 my favorite 20 seconds of radio ever.
They ever figure out who it was
#LingerLonger
Nothing Opie ever said became a meme. His comments just laid there like broken eggs.
BWAHAHAHAHA Gregshells!
God this might be the worst one lol
