Really great information! Very interesting. Our ancestor Constantine Papatheodoro (who was a priest, which I now understand from your podcast, was a priest or of a priest family) had problems with the Turkish authority . I believe the Turkish authorities were looking for him, so he changed his name to Dimitrikopoulos, and continued living in Avoros/Fokida. By 1855 the family was listed as Dimitrikopoulos. Was this a common occurrence?
