I've owned this rifle in .22 & .177 barrels , side lever is as smooth as my Daystate Renegade, accuracy is phenomenal, power increase by the rear hammer spring is simple , build quality is first class, magazines load from either side,great for me being a lefty, I buy my magazines from CARM magazines, as they are better than the original one's .I owned this rifle for over a year ,and had zero problemswith it in any way .So make your own mind up about owning one , you won't be disappointed, I had a cheek piece and but pad made up by a guy on eBay , who now sells them on their website ,so you can get a great fit for a few extra pounds ,This is one awesome rifle , as good if not better than my FX WILDCAT,and as good as my Daystate Renegade , Griffin, or my Brocock XR
I was getting ready to get a prophet. But before I could get one someone offered to put a Maverick in my hands. The prophet might still be my first non-FX small bore airgun though.
@@rh1936 listen my friend...I know that’s right...For Real...the superior liner v/s a LW 12 grove barrel is wheee it is at...at the moment to be fair. I have several LW 12 grove barrels at the moment. I want to see maybe what a Superior liner can do. My LCS Air Arms SK-19 has a LW 12 grove barrel as do several of my other guns. My LCS Air Arms SK-19 in .25 has a Polygonal barrel. Both sir are vastly different in terms of velocity and twist rate and accuracy. So...I think I would be a fool to avoid the Superior liner to test and absolutely know the whole truth about the differences between 3 exceptional barrels. Honest boss. I have “Zero” complaints with any that I have used. All drive tacks...that said...aren’t we always looking for bigger and better???I mean...that’s what we do!
When will the PCP price point get to sub $500 for real world to be able to enjoy it? Not everyone has $2k+ just for an air rifle not including air sources.
$1000 first place for 50 yard Extreme Benchrest? That doesn't cover the cost of his scope. You'd think it'd be $5k or something? Guess there's just not a big enough audience yet? I believe in time it will get way more popular. Since powder burners are expensive to shoot especially since there's no primers or powder available or should I say extremely limited.

@@heathhalfhill6867 The prophet has got LW 6 grooves not 12 grooves barrel ,I shoot 18 gr jsb at 1080 fps ,damn accurate.

There are several that come in under $500. Look at the Benjamin and Umarex lines we offer for models in this range.
