    The sandpaper that you use is it the standard sandpaper you would purchase from Hardware store? Your work is beautiful.

    2:14 here layering a lighter color on top of a darker one is perfectly meaningful and doable since the luminance difference is not that wide and, as you excellently explained, the transition is smoother.

    This is.a wonderful idea for surface and medium! Is the surface wet or dry sandpaper? Also,
    can yo tell us the different #'s of sandpaper you use for different drawings? the one you said is 1000 grit. I''ve not seen this in the hardware store- is it a special?

    What do you back the finished sandpaper drawing with ? Do you glue it to something or spray and adhesive? Or lay it against something with another type of support? Most fine sandpaper I have used in the past was wet sandpaper and it is is very flexible - so if I wanted to use for a card- how would I support it?

    Hello! Love your videos and drawings! Probably a dumb question… why draw on sandpaper? I’ve never tried it. Is there something that you like about it? I’m very curious and want to try perhaps. It seems difficult.

    • @MiroslavSunjkic
      @MiroslavSunjkic  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There are many advantages. I talk about it a lot in my videos. But it has to be a finer grit.

      Because of the fine grip, using sandpaper with colored pencils makes it easier to blend thus making the colors, especially the white, stand out

    This makes me sick. He does it so effortlessly. I can get mine very close to his at the end but it takes me weeks to do it whereas this guy can do it in the time it takes for a pot of coffee to brew. Kudos on ur talent. I hope u worked at it and it didn't come naturally or I'm gonna stick my head in a wood chipper. Jokes... I am a fan. I strive to get to this level. How good r u with portraits? That's what I mainly do but it got played out so I thought I'd try my hand at landscapes and it's been brutal. Who knew everyone on TH-cam was a landscape artist. Ur one of the best I've seen. Can you do a lighthouse as a focal point. There is a black and white one on Google that's popular in South carolina. That's what I'm working on now. I need some visual aid on technique bc I tend to muddy up my colors and have erase and start over. I too use sandpaper bc it's very forgiving and allows so many layers. I use a 400 grit drawing paper blick arts sells single pieces or by the roll.
