  • I asked over on my Patreon which subjects you'd like to see covered this year, and landscapes was by far the most popular topic! I've never taken on landscapes before, so let's see how it turns out and how I approached the drawing.

Tried my first landscape 2 days ago and it was a disaster! Found this video and it opened my eyes to everything I did wrong. Thank you! And your landscape turned out beautiful! 💖

Thankyou for this. I am trying with landscapes but always go too heavy-handed. Your tutorial explained so clearly and simply what needs to be done. Your finished picture is beautiful, the tree does indeed look ‘painted’.

Have you thought about using a solvent to eliminate the grainy look?

I like the "grainy" look for landscape.

Did you apply any type of fixative over finished pencil drawing?

I am a professional photorealistic animal portraiture artists and I can tell you one thing animals are not things. Bear living beings and they have a soul and emotions therefore they are sentient and not a thing

      Unnecessary comments on semantics.
