- A brief clip explaining the use of the 'swords fingers' hand shape in Taiji sword practice. A few minutes taken from online sword classes taught by Damo. This was filmed in Bali as a part of the Internal Arts Academy.
*Note that I use a longer Jian (sword) for Taijiquan practice than most others as it helps with connection and extension of Jin, since everybody always gets their knickers in a twist over sword length!

Clear and concise. Thank you!
A very clear lesson. Thank you. What a lovely scene. And a sword twice the size of mine... tai chi zweihander! 🙂
WOW
really insightful
Great practical lecture
So cool!
I live in Sanur, Bali now! I was up in Ubud last week. Rained like crazy!
Great vid. And precise, technical terms (1:58) really helpful.
Brilliant- thank you for sharing this valuable information
Beautiful, what a scene!
Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. 🙂🙏🏼☯️🗡
Great explanation, thank you
Ambient is superb! :)
Simple and true. Had to watch it twice to focus away from the luscious moss...
I like your explanation out of misticism. Practical things!
Thanks - that was useful.
Nice. A practitioner who cuts through the b's, right to the meat of the matter.
awesome
Why do you use the oversized two handed sword? It's not what would have been a standard weapon.
Various qualities are easier to train internally with a longer sword. Since I never plan on fighting to the death with a sword, I may as well use the sword that helps me train the qualities I seek.
@@LotusNeiGong Fair point. Would you care to share what those various qualities are?
Bollocks is a funny word. Don’t hear it much here in Philly 😂
Actually you wrong, it is for eye poke. Nothing complicated or mystical
ha ha - I dint say anything complicated or esoteric!
I had to put in a chuckle. This is so hilariously out of touch that all it really shows, is a lack of a clue about CSA.
who gives a f about the fingers bru
