Great video! I really love that second bell, the gong looks really unusual. Its nice how dutch e -bells mimic their mechanical counterparts better than the ones in Australia and America, in fact I wouldn’t mind that bell on some of our crossings here!
I agree! I would love it if our rail operators would use these bells way more: Barker Technics Type 1 and 2 Westinghouse Hybrid bell EBA 1.3 E Bells E2S Alarm 800/1000Hz alternating E2S Alarm 554Hz/440Hz Alternating Western Cullen Hayes E-Bell High speed
wel depens on luck. sometimes on Ebay. sometimes local. Sometimes if rare from the railroad itself. or a person at a museum at special events who sell them
Given that the inside has not been replaced by something newer, the date 18-05-2011 on the electronic unit inside the EBA gives something away about its age you are unsure about on the first EBA ;)
Nice video! If you interesting, in Italy we have a lot of Level crossing bells. The types are: FS64 FS88 TD96/1 TD96/2 TM2000 Westinghouse Wabco Suele Teardrop AG3 AG4 AG5
No! Please, correct 0:13 by placing some text somewhere that it should be DC. Feeding AC to the thing could probably destroy the coils and will at least damage the diode at best.

Dude Dutch crossings are insane they have like 100 signals and bells going off at once
I love all the bells .

Excellent video! You have a nice bell collection which sounds great. Love the compilation of bell sounds :)
This is why I love Dutch railroad crossing
Great video! Yea, those high-pitched bells have a much higher pitch than the mini-bells here in the US do.
Awesome! Those bells are in great shape.
EBA 1.3 is the one i've heard as a kid and it's sound is stuck in my head since then.
3:44 what crossing is that?

0:12 The gong is actually a real bell mounted sideways instead of the typical hemispherical gong

0:48 This bell reminds me of wrrs mini bell
