On Friday the 13th in September 2013, Walt Disney World featured the Unleash the Villains event for Limited Time Magic at Disney's Hollywood Studios. It was hosted by Megara and Hades from Hercules who brought out 13 of Disney's most notorious villains, including some incredibly rare characters. They were individually introduced in a one night only stage show in this order: Evil Queen, Sheriff of Nottingham, Bowler Hat Guy, Jafar, Captain Hook, Big Bad Wolf, Cruella de Vil, Governor Ratcliffe, Dr. Facilier, Claude Frollo, Oogie Boogie, Shan-Yu, and Maleficent.
This looks like fun! She's a perfect Meg, she's got the voice and everything!
So glad they included frollo he's one of the more forgotten about villains :-)
I would have loved to have seen the Queen of Hearts, Mother Gothel, Ursula, and Gaston. Maybe next year. They should totally do this every Friday the 13th, regardless of the month! This is perfect to meet all the villains you don't get to see!

Cp Sisters It's usually Meg and Hades hosting, and they've done this show for both Friday the 13th and Halloween.

My boyfriend went to this event and he said it was the most crowded he has EVER seen DW. It must have been awesome to see!
i thought it was perfect compared to videos i see so many times from the Disney park thanks so much for capturing this magic that i other wise would have never seen
I never even knew Disney World had an Oogie Boogie. I wish I could meet him. He's one of my favorite characters.

I personally would have swapped out The Sheriff of Nottingham and Bowler Hat Guy with Ursula and Scar.
Now that would be a Disney villain dream team!
Curran McKenzie I worked Disney Land for many years as a mascot and never saw an Usula or a Scar..they said they were too hard to get realistic with so they were never made..

Im really happy that they brought back some of the old characters that you cant meet in the park like shan yu and ratcliffe. Hopefully the return and introction to the parks of some of these characters means that they will continue to use them more often

Some of those costumes are amazing!!!!1 Shang Yu! But Hades... could use some work.
Normally Hades is a fur character but since he needed to speak they needed to change it

Honestly, I know that it was hot and so outrageously crowded that they had to stop allowing Guests into the park, but my friends and I still had a GREAT time!!! What Disney can take from this experience is the realization that people want the villains!!! If they ever do this again, maybe they can let them take over Magic Kingdom since it is larger. :)

Its kind of funny how I view this.. this was Hades party and he could only get a few of the big name villains that are really popular, like Cruella, Hook, The Evil Queen and Maleficent and Jafar. Then he just had to invite the others that.. well lets face it are forgotten about cause their particular movies haven't had the big time memories over others. Like the Sheriff from Nuttingham in Robin Hood, I never would of thought of him. :P

I think Scar would be difficult to do. He'd either have to be some sort of puppet or animatronic. Having someone dress as Scar (or even Simba for that matter) in the style of the Pluto costume I think would take away from the regal and elegant look of a lion.
Yea I guess you're right :( haha, and it'd be dangerous to bring a real lion to Disney world.
also from the movie he died in the fire from the thunderstorm. it wouldnt make any sense if he died from the movie but still be at disney world/land.
Ursula died -_- or turned into one of them thingies. And hades fell into the river of souls. And jafar turned into a Jeanie and was trapped forever in a lamp...
Abigail LegendCaster Evil queen=Struck by lightning and fell off a cliff. Maleficent= Stabbed and fell of a cliff. Frollo= Falls into a fiery pit. Shan yu= Blown up by fireworks. Overall, I don't think they take into account any of the villains dying.
I just can't imagine how a good Ursula face character would work.

Maleficent as number 13?! NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL SAVING THE BEST (OR IN THIS CASE THE WORST) FOR LAST.
It was actually very crowded and although the park was at full capacity, it seemed as if all the guests were squished into the front half of the park. A lot of the cool merchandise was sold out very early apparently hours before the event started.
Is it just me who thinks oogie boogie should walk around the park?
I heard Disney's Hollywood Studios is doing it again on August 23.

Everyone was squished into the front half of the park because they had to clear the back of the park for the fireworks.

the reason why most of the evil characters aren't there (like mother gothel, scar, and ursula) is probably because they most likely don't have the costumes!! wish the were there though

Meg was one of the most intresting characters for a female (Princess) since her atitude was something a Disney audience would put on a villain and they made you hate her and then love her in the end.
Tho she came off as Cougar for Hercules...

They include The Bowler Hat Guy, BUT NOT SCAR?!! No matter if you like Scar or not, you have to admit Scar is 1000 times more evil than this guy.
Bowler Hat Guy, rather Doris, is more dangerous than Scar though. Doris was like the Terminator, just less strong but smarter

This was practically a disnified strip-show...That is to say, i enjoyed myself way too much. All my fave villains, dancing and introducing themselves to me? Heck yeah!

how the heck would they do that?! remember she died off-screen, we never get to see who killed her. how would we recognize him/her? furthermore, I doubt disney even made a character reference/design for the hunter, it wouldn't really be worth in IMO, there are FAR better villains than that. just my opinion.
