    Thanks for the making the video. I think the bunk doors should be on the Discovery 38N. This will make getting in and out of both people on the bunks a lot more easier. With the sliding doors, one side is always closed. And with the ladder in place it will make it difficult for the person on the bottom to get out and use the bathroom, for example. I would like to see this happen, it will be a big joke.😂😂

    Nice coach Mike. Great floor plan for a family or just a couple. Mike, I think a great informative video would be how Fleetwood, REV Group builds and constructs their coaches that most RV shoppers/buyers are not aware of. When we are camping and talking to other RVers I will tell them how Fleetwood, Holiday Rambler, REV Group are built, inter-locking floor, side walls and roof, no Luan or Azdel used just one thicker sheet of Tough Coat fiberglass, the quality paint that is used, Sikkens, no carpet in the storage bay, sheet steel of the celling in the storage bays, (no cloth or wood used) how the cabinets are mounted to the walls, etc. Have a Great day.

    Hi Mike. Thanks for the videos as always. As for this floor model, my wife and I absolutely fell in love with the 36F from the first time we saw it until we actually walked inside one. Compared to the other bounder models, we felt that the slide here is just way too shallow making it feel cramped. I thought maybe it was because it was a full wall slide, but a major competitor of yours, Tiffin, is employing the same 26k chassis with a nearly identical floorplan model (36UA) with a much deeper slide and almost 6 ft between dinette and kitchen at nearly same price point. This model barely has 4 ft at its largest opening that gets tighter as you get closer to the 1st bathroom. When someone is sitting in furthest theater seat, you almost have to climb over their legs to get to bedroom where this isn't remotely an issue in "the Tiffin version".
    With Class As having more limited space, every square foot matters. On the positive side, Fleetwood has some of the best interiors available on the market for gas motorhomes and the full 2nd bath is a bonus as well, but ultimately it comes down to space especially when considering full timing. I hope this is something you look at in the future, because we would love to make Fleetwood our number one choice.

      Thanks, we will pass your comments on to our engineers. Bounder has been a great family friendly RV for 35 years. The best selling motor home since it was introduced.

    We have the 7.3 V8 powering our 40' MoHo pulling a 3400 lb toad.
    Our basement is stuffed with stuff we do not need🙄 and when traveling, we carry the fresh water tank at 1/3 full.
    Recently we traveled Interstate 80/90 from Erie, PA to Elkhart, IN and touched 8.7 mpg @ 65 mph.
    We have not tried climbing mountains (🤫 yet) but our travels through 14 states has yet to produce any foothills that posed a problem.
    The 6 speed transmission responds nicely to the fuel pedal by shifting smoothly and when it does drop gears, the motor doesn't sound like it's gonna climb out from under the hood. 😳
    I find shifting into 5th "before" an incline definitely helps in holding our speed, while pulling hills. HOWEVER a "heavy foot" (pulling hills) "will" cause further down shifting, causing higher rpm's and unfavorable motor noise😩
    When using "tow/haul" mode the transmission responds to braking action, by reducing gears and, letting the natural back pressure from the gasoline engine (not produced in diesels) to serve as an engine brake. Real handy, not only for down hill grade but added safety, when driving in heavy/city traffic with aggressive morons.🥳
    Gooder yet, 87 octane is the recommended fuel.
    However, if needing that "BILLY BIG RIGGER" feel, than a diesel is for you.🤭
    At 6000 miles our first oil, filter, and chassis lube cost us $120.00 at a local automotive shop.
    🤔..... not that it matters, but did I mention anything about being a retired OTR truck driver?
    GOOD STUFF... BIG TRUCKS BRING IT.😉

    Great job in showing it. Now, can it come being a diesel pusher? Other thing can you integrate double panel sliding doors for the bunks rather folding doors? We are shopping for a 36ft. Thanks.

      MIB, we do not offer the Bounder in a diesel. We do have a few diesel floorplans with bunks. Also, the 36F now has sliding barn doors at the bunks. View the 2023 Bounder at FleetwoodRV.com. -thanks

    I'm touring the US in a 91 Fleetwood Bounder 32ft. I paid 5,500$ with 73k miles. I have the Ford 7.5 showing 80k miles now. I absolutely love this beast, she's tough!

    The rear gas tank fill is terrible because the driver cannot tell where the end of the coach is when trying to line up to the gas tank. I have to get up and run to look out thee driver side window in the bedroom to get gas.

    The only thing I don't like is that front storage compartment. The one place you want the storage on the curbside is taken up with the LP tank and electrical. That needs to be moved elsewhere.
    Otherwise very nice!

    Mike, thanks for another great review. If you have a chance could you review a Discovery LXE 44B? How long does it take to order a 25 year Anniversary 44B? If I order in 2022 can I still get all the options that come in the 25 year Anniversary model? Thanks SAFE TRAVELS

    • @fleetwoodrv
      @fleetwoodrv  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ron,
      We are currently sold out of 2021's. So if it is a 25th Anniversary you are looking for we would have to find you one on the way to a dealer. If you need help with that let me know. If you were to order a 2022 You would be able to get most of the options still. I am not 100% sure yet on the colors of exterior and interior yet on the 2022 product. If there is anything else I can do to help let me know.

      Jigbot,
      The OCCC on the Bounder 36F is roughly 4,644 pounds. This will vary for every unit depending how it is optioned out but this will give you a good idea of average OCCC. Thanks, If you have any other questions let me know.

      @@fleetwoodrv wow that’s impressive for one this size. Do you know how that compares to the Southwind 37F?

    • @fleetwoodrv
      @fleetwoodrv  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jigbot,
      Yes, that is pretty impressive for a 36' gas unit. The 36F is built on a 26,000 pound chassis. The Southwind is actually a little less. It is built on the same chassis but has more solid surface tops inside and a few other options that add to the Factory Dry Weight. So the Southwind 36F has an average OCCC of 4,307 pounds. Still that is well over 2 Ton of gear your able to pack along on the next big adventure.
      Thanks - Mike -

    The unit we were in the process of buying ( based on your video ) looks nothing like this video as far as the console! There is no angle towards the driver and no hidden compartment, needless to say this will be a deal breaker in the sale since it can’t be seen due to reflections. Shame cause it was a main selling point.

      Tom,
      Consider yourself lucky. I ordered one new and after 4 months to build, it showed up with the redesigned dash. Nothing was said during the build. The dealer was like "Fleetwood reserves the right for design changes". I almost drove off the road the 1st time I tried to change the radio station. Not sure why they are using a $500 radio anymore. They should just stick the cheapest in dash radio they can find because its useless.
