6:47 Worth mentioning, the way they made tracks in this (but they leaned even harder into this in Pacific Rift) , is that each Vehicle class has an optimal route. So that top shortcut is for bikes and atvs. Muddy roads that are hard to control on, are for mudpluggers, and semi trucks I think. Buggys are fast acceleration/braking, but with the stability of four wheels so they can take the wider bumpier roads of larger vehicles, while handling the sharp turns of smaller ones by braking and accelerating fast. Sort of an all-rounder, but that particular path seems bike/atv exclusive. And yeah sometimes the physics and bumps ruin a shortcut and its not fair at all lol. All in good fun though lol
One of the first PS3 games my family had, it's intro and the recalled Spider-Man 1 trailer (the one that had the Twin Towers) are why Leave You Far Behind by Lunatic Calm is stuck in my head constantly
I bought it for the and tried to get it out the case but it broke in two so I rebought it and it’s my playstaion profile pic to this day ( I did not like the pacific one that much but still played it and loved it)
MotorStorm needs another release, bring in all the tracks and vehicles as well as customization, custom races offline, at max 4k60, then its a multimillion seller!!
It was the first ps3 game I played. Me and my best friends raced each other for hours. Still remember that epic intro in Norwegian. I en dal, uforandret av tiden. Amazing game😊
I can attest to when motorstorm came out it was mind blowing. It was a ps3 demo, I don't think it actually made the launch of the ps3, it was supposed to be a launch title but the PS3 was notoriously difficult to program for because of the unique architecture that was designed for the system. But on a standard def or what was known as a high def tv at the time, (720p) it actually looked better than it does in this replay. The higher definition seems to be enhancing the problems with the graphics.
Just a few weeks ago I finally got a working PS3 and have been playing Motorstorm and Pacific Rift regularly. It's been a blast, I didn't realize how badly I missed it. Genuinely having more fun with these two games than most modern racing games. Too many modern racing games have abandoned what makes ARCADE racing fun, and have gotten too sim-y or just frustrating without reward. And I admit, this game can be really frustrating and annoying when the physics seem against you. But I find it way more fun and pulls me back in better than most newer games. Was also enjoying Sega Rally Revo on PS3 Also nice use of Vampires Teeth to cover the liscensed music in the game's intro lol
This game and Pacific Rift have fan servers to play online, hopefully this video gets some more people to join. I think the Motorstorm World Online discord has a weekend event , switches between Monument Valley and Pacific Rift on.. maybe Sundays?
@VicariousNickGaming My mistake. It's just jet moto. I grew up as a child calling it "super" jet moto for some reason. Apparently I thought it was that super when it came out that I added super to it hahahaha
Played every single motorstorm game ever. Still play them today. Probably one of if not my favorite racing games
Full Auto was another fun racing game I miss

My younger siblings and I would purposely crash on the dirt bike just to watch the hilarious ragdoll
I just went to my local GameStop and picked this up for $5 thanks for the recommendation Nick!
LET'S GOOOOO
Pacific Rift was so fun and I played it so much.

you just dont get intro's that epic anymore they need to be remastered big time

I would annoy my dad so much as a kid because I loved just crashing over and over and watching the carnage. Similar problem with Burnout.
I still play Motorstorm every now and then. I still have all 3 ps3 versions and Arctic edge on ps2. Awesome awesome games. Thanks for the video

Motorstorm introduced me to pendulum and ive been listening dnb music ever since.

It wasn't a launch title for the PS3.
You could had played the demo of it at launch on the PS3 kiosks.
Apocalypse was most likely my favorite demo to hog and play when playstation and Xbox demos in store were a thing.
Of course i remember motorstorm! I still play online!
The first one, the cars seemed to move SOOO SLOW.
This game and Pacific Rift have fan servers to play online, hopefully this video gets some more people to join.

Oh man that's super cool!
Pacific Rift was by far the best in the series. They need to make a sequel based off that game's variety and giant amount of content.
Me and my dad loved it!
They really don't make arcade racers like this anymore
yup, one of the first games I picked up on PS3 :D epic fun :D
"rage against the silence of these ancient rocks" climate change is WILD
Pacific rift is god tier status
Ohhh i remember this. Also, could I ask for the intro music please
It's from Twisted Metal Head On! Vampire's Teeth
