Thank you. I'm trying to do as much Apples to Apples comparison as I can and I'm really loving the look and marketing behind the Heston nanobond. I was unaware they lost temperature so quickly in their pans. I'm going to have to do a bit more research there. Makes me wonder if it's a little more reactive to changes in temperature when you're cooking as well? Just now getting into learning how to cook well and this will be my first big cookware investment outside of knives
Both are solid options. Money aside, I prefer Made In - I like its brushed finish and handle better and Made In offers more shapes/sizes/types if you want to add to your collection over time. But the heating properties are very similar so you really can’t go wrong.
Re Goldilocks and its start-up feel. How hard is it to have a customer service phone number that is staffed during normal business hours? I refuse to buy from companies that don't provide that minimal level of customer service.
Costco sells the Tramontina 12-piece Tri-Ply Clad Stainless Steel Cookware Set and also the Calphalon Premier 12-Piece Stainless Steel Cookware Set. Both sell for $199. Which do you recommend and why?
Hi looking at buying my first stainless steel set. I have it narrowed down to two. Would you go with the 7pc from goldilocks for $175 or the 10pc 3 ply from legend for $178?
Yes, I have lots of Misen reviews on PrudentReviews.com and have featured them in several videos. Great performance and very good value. prudentreviews.com/?s=Misen
Houw does this pan compare to the equivalent Misen pan? Seems like a useful comparison considering they're in the same budet consideration category.@@PrudentReviews
@@briantholen good question. Misen heats up a little faster but both retain heat about the same. Most home cooks won’t notice a difference in performance. The biggest difference is the handle. Goldilocks’ handle is thinner and flat, Misen’s handle is more rounded. I prefer Goldilocks’ handle because it gives you a little more control when tilting. Here is the heat conduction and retention test results prudentreviews.com/goldilocks-cookware-review/#Goldilocks-vs-the-Competition
Tatramontina is cheaper and has been in business for a hundred and twenty years as made in Brazil, not China, and has a life time guarantee. I own a few pieces and am buying more because they perform very well, I can't see myself buying from a unestablished company in China, that doesn't have good customer service, or a long track record with a proven guarantee. Tatramontina stands behind there name.
LOL...as you type on a keyboard, surf through a router, open your front door, call your friends all with products made in china (PRC). A country who's state government constantly try's to weaken the US.
@@skf6199you unintentionally made his point for him. In 2-5 years he’ll need to replace that phone. Quality cookware should last a lifetime…oftentimes more.
Never heard of Goldilocks before. Hence the videos portion where he speaks to the short track record. Now All-Clad looks like even more of a rip off. 😁
The cookware is made in China but Goldilocks is based in the US. The information of the website and customer service have nothing to do with where the product is made.
That handle is the reason I wouldn't buy it. That shape handle is painful on my hands. Please give some consideration to people who do not have young, perfectly working bodies.

It's very difficult to find a skilled work force for factories in America.
I would love to see you do a review on my personal favorite: Tramontina

My, my, my. That is interesting. Thx for doing this and sharing. 👍👍👍👍👍
Loving these reviews. It'd be great to see the Ninja EverClad compared to the Goldilocks. Same price, similar production, but established company.
Thank you! I’ll check that ninja collection out
Very informative video. Thanks!!!
My Tramontina 12” try-ply skillet cost $40. I’d put it up against anything as far as value.
$40 for a fully clad stainless steel pan is a great value
tramontina's stainless cookware is spectacular value for what you get in my experience
I might've gone that route instead if I had seen more info about it sooner but I just got the goldilocks 12". Can't wait to try it out.
@@clashwithkeendid you ever try the Goldilocks out?
@@PrudentReviewsi got my set of tramontina 12” and 10” 3-ply for 19.97$ at Costco.
Best steal this year so far
I and other commenters request a review of Tramontina tri-ply. I know you recommend it via your storefront -- please provide a video and more info!
great video, question: how hot do you preheat the pan to?
5:28-6:16 Thank you!
Reminds me of my Calphalon Tri-Ply.
Great channel! Could you review Granite Stone cookware? That'd be amazing! :D
Which should I buy Goldilocks or Made In?????

Do you do ceramic pan review?
Does it ever go on sale?
Thanks!
You’re awesome - thank you!!
Could you review meyer cookware? They are the only cookware made in Canada, but there isn't much online about how well they perform.
It’s on the list!

How about the legend 3 ply for 179 on amazon
Why would you compare this to the all-clad copper core instead of their aluminum core pans?
Im struggling to find a good 430 Stainless steel pan thats fully clad and about 3mm thickness
Do you only recommend the 12skillet or all of their pots to?
All of their pieces have the same materials and design, fan of them all
How do you feel about Delarlo?
Haven’t tested it
@@PrudentReviews I ended buying one. It's good quality.
Just buy factory second sales from all-clad, I paid $80 for a 12" cooper core pan shipped. Looked brand new to me.
Where do I buy at?

Looks identical to the Cuisinart handle design, maybe these are coming from the same factory (not a bad thing)
There’s a good chance they are
Slave labor keeps prices down!
Who cares about intellectual property or trademarks!
Why the secrecy in materials used? Pretty shady!
I guess Goldilocks is "just right".
Like other commenters here... made in China is a deal breaker.
Why?
Because I choose to buy domestic whenever I can.
Not for me, very competitive prices 😭

That's too expensive, I got one from tefal at about 15 usd in 28cm zice. It's got a folded handle but the cooking surface is an excellent 3 ply

Same here. No China, why help the CCP take over the world.
