I have a question I think I got a little bit too big of a size skate I got the 10.5-11 and my foot is coming up a little in it. Can I get a smaller liner 9-10 size and would it fit fine in the boot? Thanks
My next skates have the cuffs in the lower position and they fit good after replacing the default laces for better adjustable waxed hockey laces. The default laces lasted more than a year and that is solid for me but thinner waxed laces work better for the stability and I do have less blisters with better adjustable laces.
I have the Powerslide Kaze and I found that removing the 45 degree strap helped a lot with the feel of the forward lean, so that is also an option. I know the Kaze is a soft boot, so maybe that doesn’t apply to the Next as much.
I have other problem. But skates are the best :D ! Left foot feets perfect. But right is a little bigger and my big toe is too long for the shell. what can i do? grind it by dremel or use a heatgun to adjust shell?
Hi there! Due my thin legs I have to close the cuff as much as possible, it gives me more stability on the sides, but blocks me on forward leaning. Cutting the back wings of the shell, am I gaining more flexibility on the forward leaning but not loosing the side stability? Thanks
Hello! Bought the Next80s and i have two complains: 1stly, tightening the cuff to the max (if i try to tighten more, the clip becomes very hard to lock), it leaves a considerable - to me - gap at the top, allowing alot of unwanted back/front movement. I'd prefer to have my foot angled and locked just like with a ski boot. 2ndly, the edges of the tongue, cuts on the front of my ankles, making the experience really unpleasant. You should consider a tongue with either less width so it wont get in contact with the ankle or more width so it covers the ankle. If there is a way to fix those two issues, i'd welcome your reply, thank you.
Also my Doop which is also new. The aluminum broke off while just tightening it. Good thing it didn’t come off while i was using it. That for sure would have been a bad accident since the whole boot would have fallen off.
I got a Powerslide Next Brown too but my problem is that the connecter of the wings bent like its too long. Wanted to put a picture here but couldn’t. Just got mine too.
Do you mean the 2 things under the buckle in front of the ankle? There is a option to cut the outer one and I would only do that if those things collide with the screws for the buckle clip or the buckle clip it self. My ankles are small so I had to cut them and I have removed 1 part every time until the outer lip was not hitting the buckle clip anymore. Do not cut off to much just cut one and skate, if the skate does not close cut another one but this thing is essential for stability so be careful!
@@remyhendrikse6450 no it’s the releaser of the wings. Can’t change it cause i would have to poke a hole but can’t do that cause it’s too close to the existing hole that holds the releaser. I should try to post it on my TH-cam channel.
Im so glad to see inline skating is back and becoming once again popular sport.
Oh haven't seen those lines until this video, I feel like I need an adjustment but really afraid to fuck it up hahaha

Adjust with a heat gun would probably be the better option before making small adjustments with a dremmel if necessary
Is it possible to heat moulding of this boots (not liners). I need little more room in area of instep.
they cant be heatmolded

normally stability should be still there.
Hi! What did you do in the end?

Also wanted to put a picture of that but couldn’t here. Sadly
I think this was called the hinge screw anti rivet. Dang thing broke into two pieces. It’s aluminum so not as strong.
