I was so nervous to make this video for you all, but Hells supported me the whole way throughout it I chose this gameplay out of all the other 10+ gameplays I recorded because I felt like the viewers could learn a lot from this, which I'm happy Hells is also satisfied with The build part: I went for Cosmic Drive into Archangel's because I knew this was a game where I could kite the enemies easily, and swapped Staff of Flowing Waters with Archangel's Staff because I knew I needed more mana than usual. SoFW's passive doesn't interact with Cosmic Drive's passive. Cosmic Drive gives you 30 Ability Haste (like SoFW with 35 CDR) - only issue is that you lack mana. Cosmic Drive's movement speed interacts really well with Harmonic Echo because it charges HE's passive faster. This way you will have perma Harmony with AOE sustainable healing. Sure, this build doesn't provide as much burst healing/ally buffs like the other builds I showed you, but it does provide a lot of sustain and selfpeeling. You could go Imperial Mandate over Cosmic Drive, but I like the other item more because you can constantly proc the passive of it rather than waiting 6 seconds for Imperial Mandate passive (and also having to always rely on your allies to give you movement speed) The ending: I know I made a mistake and trolled so hard in the end. I assumed we could end because I still had heal and ultimate which I thought would be enough for us to kill the Nexus, but my team backed away and it went clown fiesta from there. I've definitely learned a lot from this mistake, which I hope the viewers also learn from + Also, if you go SoFW you're able to heal for free 3 times. If you use W Q W W W you can heal your entire team! I use this combo a lot. If you guys have any more questions I'll gladly answer them in the comment section below here.
Chay quick question I don't understand how your getting free heals when you skill one into skill two can you explain that? In the video you don't have Sofw but you are still getting free heals how does that work?
Hey, Chay, big fan and Soraka enjoyer myself, i am always checking your builds in game:) Thanks for the guide and gameplay! To advertise protect enchant a bit, Soraka can use it with her 1st as well, to receive a really big regen, it is not so hard to land, when she is locked by some melee, like press 3rd, protect, 1st and run away with speed from cosmic drive, it really helps me to survive, and of course it can also be used with 2nd, to get a full health heal to an ally. I now only take locket with mage opponent comp, and i love protect now more than redemption
Hello and thank you so much! I've tried Protect enchant a few times and I really don't enjoy it that much. I would say I buy stasis 40% of my games and the rest is redemption 😁I do know about the first ability but I haven't tried it yet, so I will definitely give it another try. I just don't like Protect Enchant because of the lack of self peeling as well as the fact that I can only heal one champion at a time. I don't really lack singular target healing, because if I land Q then I heal the same amount after spamming W. I lack sustain and AOE heal which is why I go Harmonic with Redemption. Redemption is also great to use with your ultimate
This game exhibits one thing I constantly try to hammer into other players, always go for the safe bet, don’t hedge on a nexus kill with the entire enemy about to respawn of your whole team is sub 50% hp. Be patient, take baron then go for the finish.

Btw Hells.. the new function..the one that allows u to see the ally health on map is good, but a Soraka player (me, Chay, and others) is used to see the health of ally near map. when we look at map with one eye we seethe health, but yeah the new option is better.
I usually go with (1) Harmonic echo (2) Rod of Ages (3) Warmog’s Armor (4) Rabadon’s Deathcap and finish off with whichever suits the situation. For the boots, always Lucidity and Redemption.
Rod of Ages first item ALWAYS! It takes 7,5 minutes to fully stack and games are short in Wild Rift - don't ever delay building this over something else, it's not worth!

Her original build with staff of flowing waters i follow it and from emerald i landed grand master in last season spamming soraka i even got to top 100 . My goal last season is just be diamond for the banner but i get more than what i want haha
I love Soraka. She is my third lvl 5 mastery...The other 2 being Nami and Sona. I have rebuild my Sona though with the changes with her I need to find a different build that I like on her. The only thing that bothers me when playing Soraka is when your allies high tail it past you, behind you, and leave you in the wind to die. I don't understand why people don't get how Soraka works. I will keep you alive if you don't leave me in the wind. Her ability 1 heal on an ally after she lands it on an enemy and then uses her ability 2 is so powerful over time for both of you (Rejuvination).
yep. nothing sucks more than when they don't protect you. like I will literally prove myself useful but giving them a penta or Quadra earlier, and they would still leave me to die.
I'm using the spectral sickle for the first item then ROA as the second item, Mandate 3rd, and Warmog's for 4th. The 5th item could be staff of flowing water for more AP/heal or frozen heart for durability and atk spd reduction. For boots, I always go for merc threads because a cc'd soraka is a dead soraka for sure, with the meteor enchant (I like more poking damage) or the heal enchant.
I honestly don't see how Mandate and Warmog's should work together. With a Warmog's Armor you have to position yourself behind your allies so you don't take damage, meaning you will use Starcall less significantly. With Imperial Mandate you have to position yourself in front in order to land Starcall and Equinox consistently, meaning you'll risk taking damage. These two items just don't go along well together in my opinion, but I'd love to hear from you how it works for you
"Soraka isnt just a healer" probably is the most important thing peeps should learn about her... As a main sup I dont use her a lot coz peeps are kinda bad at champ selection, always gotta pick a mage for example coz they go full ad etc, that kind of picks... But still am at like 80/90wr, mostly thanks to my s3 use... I basicaly only spam heal while payin attention to not getting caught, but most important, I focus on not missing any s3 : If enemy got assassins, I s3 right after they engage so they basicaly are freefood in the middle of our team, I mean, you should never waste it as a random poke... As Soraka you're the enemy main focus, or at least supposed to be, and s3 is your best bodyguard, stay close to your adc/mage, depending on who's fed, and time it well to turn scary assassins into puppies.
At that fight I would've put Formula 1 car engine and tires on myself and just vroom myself back to base and legit ping my team to fall back, or I'd just leave they ass. Because over extension is the KILLER. Enemies full health and they're like Jaws, they want my Sona/Soraka butt. I'm surprised she stayed. But yeah, it's really all about the positioning and gen composition.

IT'S SO FUNNY.. this video, if your take a step back and break down the events of it. 1. You offer a new, cool feature to your viewers, and get your friend to come in and give a short tutorial. You choose her because, as you hyped her up to us and said.. she's basically an expert in. She lives and breathes it. You get us all hyped up, then tun it over to her. 2) She comes in and KILLS it! A successful new experiment in a way to spice up your channel. The decision to to it was a great marketing idea. We all learn a lot of new stuff that we could only hear about from someone that is passionate about what she spoke on. 3) She says bye, and you come right in after her, and give us a recap of what she went over. Very cool, and overlooked by most people. You slowly start giving us a few conflicting opinions you have on the things she went over. It starts to snowball. 4) Your ADD/OCD kicks into high gea. (I dont know what you have been or would be diagnosed with but I have both of those two and they cause conflicting behavioral patterns that can make it really hard to stay on topic, or realize when I need to stop trying to and take a break. Not an expert, but you show signs of both of them anyway. 5) You may or may not have realized it, but you gave a MASTER CLASS for the rest of this video. Which would be a wonderful unexpected bonus for us, ... EXCEPT that it was on EVERY SINGLE REASON we should NOT play the champion she guest spotted on, and why we should not do what she was doing in the video. 6) I WAS ROOOOLLIN' ON THE GROUND LAUGHING at the irony, because I'm a marketing guy. It was very entertaing though, still full of information. Just curious if you ever came back and rewatched this and realized that is what happened. Peace out.

If you can include both in your build that would be ideal. If there is something you should always build on Soraka - it should be Rabadon's Deathcap. Sure, this item provides you more heal on Astral Infusion & Wish, but you also need to consider that it boosts your selfhealing on Starcall and damage overall.
I mean if you hit your Q and then use W the bonus healing will be enough than maxing W first if you use RoA, and if you have Exhaust you and your ADC will be fine, heal spell has pretty much no worth on anyone now a days it's Honestly trash

Just my opinion on building hp items on soraka, if I'm not wrong her heal cost scales with hp. Meaning building hp on her isn't good. Correct me if I'm wrong.
You are right! If you're good at landing Starcall and connect it to Astral Infusion, then however much HP you have shouldn't matter. It's still good to build HP though - building HP gives you enough time to react when enemies all in or try to focus you.
well yeah that's how majority of people's brain works in these situations. you see someone super low and of course you want them dead before heading onto another target because "soraka dies really fast". of course they don't see me cause riven was supposed to be dead like 10 seconds ago 😂😂
If I ban against counter picks then I would ban Rakan because he can easily catch you out and get away with it, aswell as Morgana applying AOE antiheal to your entire team making it harder for you to heal for a longer period of time cause of Liandry's. A good Karma is also stronger because of her utility and poke in lane and can easily catch you out with empowered W. I mostly ban Gwen if my team doesn't ban or pick her cause she provides so much damage and you can't land your abilities when she uses her W
@@hithere9755 Katarina is usually never an issue. You should be able to keep your allies alive so she's not able to get reset and your silence should always be up to cancel her ultimate

Harmonic echo gives mana ap and CDR but I mainly use it for the passive which heals 3 teammates if you heal or shield 1. Love it on Janna as well

Definitely the troll stasis in the mid lane was the biggest mistake! She didn’t get to use it with yasuo and ekko dive.
Tried the first build and I got an easy MVP with an A rate.You just really need to know the proper positioning for her.

I did not know that you can turn on health on the map again. Thought it was a bug after the update 😂 ı actually loced that feature. Thanks Hells

Just my opinion on building hp items on soraka, if I'm not wrong her heal cost scales with hp. Meaning building hp on her isn't good. Correct me if I'm wrong.
You are right! If you're good at landing Starcall and connect it to Astral Infusion, then however much HP you have shouldn't matter. It's still good to build HP though - building HP gives you enough time to react when enemies all in or try to focus you.
Except warmogs. Since you can step back and heal to full faster than recalling. Also, more health still =more heals(quantity not quality).

well yeah that's how majority of people's brain works in these situations. you see someone super low and of course you want them dead before heading onto another target because "soraka dies really fast". of course they don't see me cause riven was supposed to be dead like 10 seconds ago 😂😂

May I ask which champ you banned while playing Soraka? Which champ counter soraka hard ?
If I ban against counter picks then I would ban Rakan because he can easily catch you out and get away with it, aswell as Morgana applying AOE antiheal to your entire team making it harder for you to heal for a longer period of time cause of Liandry's. A good Karma is also stronger because of her utility and poke in lane and can easily catch you out with empowered W. I mostly ban Gwen if my team doesn't ban or pick her cause she provides so much damage and you can't land your abilities when she uses her W

When I play soraka, I always ban Katrina, if already banned, then Seraphine.... But yeah Gwen Morgana and Karma always problem! 😅
@@hithere9755 Katarina is usually never an issue. You should be able to keep your allies alive so she's not able to get reset and your silence should always be up to cancel her ultimate
