A few years back, we published an article on Bethanchok. But many of us hadn't been there ourselves. Shortly after our Darchula Trek, we decided to visit Bethanchok for a quick weekend break. Following Khim's guidance, five of us had a great time in Bethanchok. Although the weather was kinda bad and we couldn't witness neither sunrise or sunset (which is epic from this place), we had no complaints.
Just a few hours away from Kathmandu, this can be your next short hiking trip with your friends and family. Unfortunately, this place hasn't got the attention it deserves yet. We hope to change that.

We had been there last month. Inspite of bad weather, we didnt give up so easily. It was miraculous and lucky us that we got to see the sunrise and sunset. Great video and nice place to visit. I got to know you guys went for night out in group. But I would love to know if this place is safe for 2-3 people only for night stay as it is in middle of jungle? Or have you heard any incidents caused due to wild animals or any human threats?

Great work from you teams . Really amazing. We have already been there 2 years ago we have struggled hard there. Hunger and thirst whole day. We had survived there eating Guras flower and droplets from leaves as water. That time was really hard for us. Despite those difficulties and struggle the view, sunset, sunrise was just wow. Really I love this place and I rank 2nd after mustang for this place in Nepal.

Have been there 7 times. Go there during winter for real fun 😂😂😂 Got lost on first visit. Ended up in a village opposite to Dungkharkha while returning back n had to walk for another 1 hr to board bus. Great place. 👌👌
