Buck, I will be building a chess board soon. It will be on top of a box (for piece storage) I will be using box joints to construct the box, with a hard board bottom. I wasn't sure how todo this as I only have the parts to make the box (no offcuts), after watching your video, I now have a better understanding of the steps necessary to produce a finish box. Thank You for posting this.
