Wow... That looks like a fantastic start for this pepper season... You know I have this weird black fiberglass tub made of some kind of very durable all weather material apparently, I'm not even sure what this container is used for, but I obtained it for putting some pepper plants in. And then started to have second thoughts about how many peppers or even tomato plants that would be comfortable in this space, dimensions are like 3.5 X 3.5 Feet 15' Deep. Kind of rough dimensions. But it could easily be a planter. So, what caught my eye was your planter and the space between each plant.... I know you have more experience than me on how much true space you can get away with and I think what you got going here will be just fine based upon your experience, I'm sure you thought about this. Another thing I'm real jealous about is.... You have real soil, Real Texas soil... 🙂 I will have to use potting soil in this container along with some added nutrients which I have, which I already collected on sale when I spotted it in the depot home type stores. For some reason it seems like our desert is staying a little colder than it usually does at night, but I think that's about to pass.... The temperatures you reported that sounds a little bit nippy. I truly want to see how this little garden area turns out as everything starts to develop this could be a great opportunity to get some generalization perspectives on space needed. Also, maybe if things get out of hand with some plants how to keep them trimmed up and also productive. We will have to see how this area develops, When the plants get a little bit more mature, I would suggest if possible throwing down some type of mulch this will help retain the water in case you guys get into a water and too much heat issues which can happen in Texas. This is a great opportunity to show what can be done in a small space. 🙂 P.S. I got the opportunity to talk to Jimmy pickles And Max Decker both at the same time on a three way call...... what a fantastic opportunity that came my way both of them were awesome to talk to and share things with. There's a possible opportunity for me to actually possibly meet Max Decker one day. 🙂

Sounds great, spacing is always an issue with our limited space and our quest for more to squeeze in. A foot and a half to 2 ft between is best but in some cases where three of same type are closer together because eventually it'll look like one giant canopy. The front gets major sun no shade, so mulch is in our plans. Appreciate you bro, thanks for checking it out.
