Love queens drive chippy - the owners used to work at Kingfisher which you gave a 10 to previously. For a proper drive thru fish shop though, you need to go to Empire (Wetherby Whaler) on Leeds road in Outwood.
That tray of fish n chips fully loaded with everything on top looked and sounded amazing! Ignore those losers who can’t appreciate that different people like different things, bring on the sauces!

It has a number of good fish and chip shops. Another is Barracuda about a mile from this one. Queens drive is good and a godsend in lockdown. There no better pleasure than fish, chips, mushies and dandelion and burdock which the US viewers must wonder what that tastes like. Danny does somewhat destroy the ‘purity’ of the dish pouring all his sauces on, but if he likes it 👍
As someone who lives a 2 minute walk away, i use these all time. Staff lovely there and so is food as they make your mains order from fresh. Recommend for anyone.

Possibly some tartare sauce, with quite a helping of salt and vinegar, spread liberally don’t you know, but vinegarrrrr mainly for one’s fish. With lashings of both on the chips. HAVE YOU reviewed Wybers Fish & Chips in Grimsby. ? AMAZING!! - and they do a bag of 'scraps' which is just all the crumbs of batter. Must be a Northern thing. Don't get that down South. Wish we did. Chips cooked in beef dripping oil and beer battered fish WOW!!!!
Love the t-shirt Danny. I'm not a fan of battered sausages. I prefer normal chippy sausages. The fish looks great. Curry sauce on fish isn't a thing here in Ireland, but I tried it and will always order a side of curry sauce. It works so well. £21 is value for money.
