What in the world was Konchellah thinking with those tactics? He was dead last until about 150 meters out. Even if Ruto had dropped back in favor of his teammates, D’Urso still beat him at the line. What a strange strategy
A career highlight for Paul Ruto and Giuseppe D'Urso. Can't imagine why Billy Komintai Konchellah left it so late. This was his last international medal too.
He never quite had the class to compete at World/Olympic level. He was brilliant at out kicking inferior runners in slow races but as soon as the top runners upped the pace early on in a race it was all he could do to try and keep up with them.
Mckean had a fetish for getting boxed in in the inside lane and jostled around before limping out half heartedly at world olympic level..time and time again. This race was predictable at 550metres and the usual script. Mckean had a real chance before the race
Its Amazing ,congratulations Ruto for that important win
God made it all actually he is ma mantor all tha way
