You need a part two with that, the luthor transformation, the flash gorrilla silver age fever dream, the experence of watching batman and harley quinn, The true form of Hades and death of felix faust, those creepy dark heart spider things, that moment when clayface was a) created, b) ate batman, c) ate a child.

Honestly, the scariest thing about Harley Quinn is my parents walking in on me while watching Batman and Harley Quinn

Sal Vilestra's death reveal in Mask of the Phantasm is the most horrifying moment in the DCAU in my opinion. I can't even look at the screen without putting my hand in front of my eyes.

After all, he's the only villain to show up in all three films.

@@thenoirknight5729 He wasn't wearing his Scarecrow mask but he appears as Johnathan Crane but he's a judge.
In one scene he put's a bunch of people on the death penalty and they get taken out to a frozen river and are forced to walk on it until they fall in and freeze to death.

For me the creepiest DCAU moment was BTAS' "Moon of the Wolf" and Anthony Romulus' lycanthropic form, the noise it made still gives me shivers thinking about it. I was legitimately worried for Batman in a way that none of his other villains made me feel concerned about.
"Dreams in Darkness" is Scarecrow's best episode. The actor's performance was brilliant; worthy of being a James Bond villain. He nailed it. Change my mind 😁

When I was younger,I was disturbed by Man-Bat's transformation
Toy Man wasn’t the only creepy character in Superman tho. Every time Braniac shows up it’s chilling. The reveal that he let the people of Krypton die for his “records” therefore lying to the council about how sentient he really is. Each time he fights Supes & “dies” only to be in his larval form again like a Slasher film franchise! The way he killed those aliens 👽 who discovers him in part 3 of Last Son of Krypton as he kept evolving. Surging into the Legionaries time well after the deaths of Kal & the League. Scary!

Again on Superman. Metallo was also chilling. Even tho Corbin is an amoral mercenary, the creators found a way for us to still pity him to a degree (just like most of Bat’s Arkham rouges). Corbin woke up healed from his deadly disease stronger than ever only to discover he lost 3 of his senses (couldn’t even appreciate a Kiss 💋 anymore). He then finds out Lex poisoned him so he could rebuilt him. He then loses his mind screaming in front of the mirror ripping the skin of his torso & face. He declares he’s now Metallo! Goes to show the haters that Supes world can be just as gripping as Bats (i love both my guys).

Personally, I think The Underdwellers might be one of the scariest episodes of BTAS if you think a little hard about it. There is nothing truly scarier than a man using our country's youth for his own selfish ends.

ok let me start out by saying I'm drunk. I enjoy your videos. I'm glad that theres a video with the DCAU and resident evil in it together. Bam. However about your action hero/resident evil 4 comment, i'd say that even though the character isn't scared the player is. Resident evil 4 is more of an action game i'll admit but there is still a lot of spooky stuff like the cult and all that.

I know I'm late but I think one of the most messed up episodes in the dca is dr.destiny the death of superman the mask of the phantasm movie is a horror movie in my opinion then we have the batman beyond splicer episode when terry was becoming a bat monster

The I am vengeance I am the Night, seems to be a direct call out the the disney spoof of batman Darkwing Duck who's catch fraze is I AM THE TERROR THE FLAPS IN THE NIGHT and proceeded this show by a year.
Darkwing Duck’s catchphrase is actually based off that of The Shadow, which BTAS Batman also takes a lot of cues from.

I know this has nothing to do with the subject matter being featured in this video. But I have a question regarding an episode of the Justice league TV series.
In the episode "metamorphosis" the villain of the piece, Simon Stagg, appears to exhibit behavior, which would seem to indicate that he is actually in love with his own daughter, at least in my opinion.
He brings her flowers, straightens out his suit and hair before ringing the doorbell to meet her, and of course, becomes extremely jealous when he learns she is "running away" with another man, à la Rex Mason.
Now, I'm no psychiatrist. So I'm certainly no expert on human behavior. So I could in fact be wrong.
It's also doubtful that Warner Bros. would allow such material to be featured in one of their cartoons, at least overtly.
I just want to get a "professional opinion" on the subject.
