      I was listening to the podcast last night out in my shop and trying to picture this in my head... Not even close! This is so cool I can honestly see myself building one for my backyard, or maybe even just the letters for my shop.

    Nice project! I like the bending of the metal sheets to wrap around the letters! It looks vintage!

    Your practicality is refreshing. I like to go around my elbow to get to my butt sometimes. Every project is so well planned out and executed, I fly by the seat of my pants most times, so each step is a puzzle. Keep up the good work! If I am ever in New York, I would love to shake your hand.

      I agree with the letter making part. I made a simple M 8 months ago and scoured the internet. Nothing is as awesome as this. I would have quit at the "e"

    Great work as always Jimmy! It always amazes me how confident you are in your cuts. First with that stack of pipes and than drilling the holes in the letters with no guide as far as I can tell. Never ceases to amaze me.

    I think this might be my new favourite Diresta build. It shows off several of the things you're brilliant at. Metal work, carpentry and electrics. I love it!

    Copied this for a garage sign with my side business name on it. Took me three days and the sheet metal wasn't nearly as clean, but still very badass. I used BoSox font. I must have ordered the wrong lights, as they were a real bear to get them to light up and had quite a few of the cases break when taking them apart. Thanks for the tutorial Jimmy... Inspiration as always.

    I was so excited that I knew what you were doing by cutting the pipe, using the small ends to weld back together. i have done that. But using square stock to align, fugging genius !

    That really was a cool build, one of my favorites I reckon.
    I also dug the Sriracha cameo.
    Was shocked at the camo crocs, but understand that you were maybe a bit hot after the Sriracha.

    Hole saw, good idea. I often ground the half moon into pipe, but cutting with a hole saw looks much easier.

    I count 49 bulbs. that's a lot of holes, but real slick idea how you dismantled and then rebuilt the string of lights like that. Cool idea.
